Vicente Campo
Cozy restaurant located on the first floor of an old house. The young man who served us, by the way very friendly and attentive, when taking note of the dishes we ordered, recommended the Labaniego stew better since we chose a similar mixture.
The recommendation was correct, the stew was delicious and the quantity was more than enough for two. In addition, the stew was a menu that included dessert and drink.
For dessert we had the typical "canonigo", cream with caramelized meringue, which was delicious
It was a good decision to have chosen this place to eat.

This is a delightful little restaurant in a lovely little village in the heart of the Picos de Europa. We had a warm welcome from the owners and the food was unpretentious but delicious. The one mistake we made was ordering two starters when one to share, a lovely mixture of padron peppers, anchovies and cheese, would have been more than enough. it was all washed down with a bottle of the incredibly reasonably priced house red. Definitely recommended if you are staying at the parador, a few minutes up the road.

Helpful and friendly staff who were able to help choose gluten free options. We had the Menu Anniversario, which included a mixed salad and a main course of goat which was very tasty. There were gluten free puddings as well. A great choice for eating if you are visiting Fuente Dé.

You can only eat menus and even babies have to pay, menus are very expensive
Then we left because it was so expensive and even a child would pay even if they didn't eat.
We left and the lady started disrespecting us saying "I'm here to make money."
I don't recommend anyone.

Dishes prepared with taste and care, as well as excellent product quality. Of course, the experience can be a lottery depending on who serves you, since the character of a waiter can make a sweet sour. Evident lack of professionalism in that sense, but delicious food. If you pass through Espinama, it is a must (and risky…😉) visit. The meat, spectacular.

We have visited many times over the past 10 years and have always received a genuinely friendly welcome. The food is really wholesome and locally sourced and it’s always cooked to perfection. It’s exactly what you need after a day walking in the hills and mountains. The family who own and mange the restaurant are really lovely people and I thoroughly recommend it to all visitors who enjoy good food.

Super good food, and very very good quality. Super attentive in the service and very friendly all. The place is very nice and the restaurant is a charm. I stayed very close at Pido and went 2 times, 1 time to eat and taste his bake and 1 time for dinner to taste his steer chop tudanca from his own ranch, and spectacular, without words. I hope to repeat next year!!!!

For me the Menu del Dia was excellent. Soup good, beef excellent, and caramel cream perfect.
Only issue might be that vino or agua was not included in the price.
By and large I'll go back again to try other items on the menu.

Among the possible places to eat in the valley, with the references of our hostess and other reviews, we chose Vicente Campo.
The food (both menu and card), very complete. Asunción, always very attentive.
Among everything tried, and discarding the lebaniego stew because there was a route in the afternoon, the caricos stand out: exquisite.

Had a very late lunch here when no where else was open for lunch. It was a great saviour as we were starving! It was a nice restaurant and the staff were helpful , friendly and patient with our poor Spanish. We both had lovely salads - mine was ‘Fresca de veran’ and had loads of fresh fruit. My friend had the local cheeses which she enjoyed. They were good sized servings.

I can't for the life of me imagine who this restaurant has gotten such good reviews...
This was the worst and most expensive restaurant we have visited in the Picos. The salad ( Smoked Goat-chese salad) was nice to see, but almost unedible due to the amount of (industrial?) vinager that was used. The local stew was made of overcooked cabbage, the smell of which distorted every other taste, and chickenpeas that were just one minute from falling apart. There was one tastefull piece of meat in it though. And the wine was ok.
But we could have had two much better tasting meals in any of the other restaurants in Espinama for the same amount of money..

Excellent dinner; cosy traditional restaurant with kind attentive staff. Everything about this place is local and independent. Nice starters but the beef produced on the owners local farm was sensational. Bacalao also superb and all very inexpensive.
