We were initially unsure about this place due to reviews saying there was a long queue, but we were pleasantly surprised. We added our name to the list and only actually waited about 5 minutes to be seated (we were 2 people). The board to add your name to the list is inside so make sure you go in and add it when you arrive, also they call your name from inside the restaurant so make sure you’re listening out. Portion sizes were good and it was all tasty but staff not particularly friendly and it is busy. Overall was worth a visit.

oh man I love this place. so much that I ate here twice during my short stay in Osaka! it's Okonomiyaki style, which is a savory pancake dish cooked on an open flat griddle. There are plenty of choices (e.g., pork, seafood, veggie, kimchi, etc.). A fantastic value too, with one pancake, which is very filling, and a beer costing about USD15 (December 2023). The whole area is filled with lots of little food stalls and shops offering similar value. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing fresh food served. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The menu’s at the time unfortunately were only available in Japanese but the staff were kind enough to take me through in English. Would visit again!

I advise you not to visit this store if you don't want to waste your money and time. The reason is as follows. Since this store is famous here in Osaka, my buddy and I tried their food for the first time on Sept. 10. We waited in line for about 15 min. While waiting in line, we found out that we had to write down our name on the waiting list if we wanted to dine in. The waiting list was inside the store and there was no announcement outside of the store. One staff who was in charge of calling customers into the store was so unkind, so insolent and so arrogant that this made our feeling really bad. Anyway, we got inside and ordered 2 beer, 2 types of okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Yakisoba was alright but definitely an average quality yakisoba you can get anywhere in Japan. Because they have a pretty good reputation according to google and other websites, and being such a famous store in Osaka, we did have a bit of expectation. However, their okonomiyaki was the worst okonomiyaki I've ever had in my whole life. It was gluey and the most greasy okonomiyaki. Frankly speaking, I felt like I dumped my money in a gutter. I will never go to this store again but those of you who would like to give it a try, go ahead. I'm 100% sure you'll regret it. As a local Osaka resident, it looked like they don't care if you will never come back since it was obvious that they just need tourists and a one shot customer not a regular. I hope my evaluation will be helpful to those of you who are wondering whether this store is worth visiting or not.

Amazing food and such a gem of a restaurant. Waited outside for a while but it was worth it. Wagu was delicious and for £20 each we had an amazing meal 6/5

Went early in the evening and was seated straight away. Delicious food that was very filling. Decent price for those on a budget.

At this restaurant you sit on seats around the kitchen and the chef cooks your choice of Okonomiyaki, Negiyaki or yakisoba. We ordered a prawn and a wagyu beef Okonomiyaki. Both were very good. Recommended.

If you are in the area you should definitely check this place out. It’s a small restaurant so there is a wait time. You have to go inside and put your name down on the list. I recommend splitting up if you’re more than 3 people. Someone will ask for your order outside but everything is ready once you come in. The service inside is really friendly. Now for the food, we had the garlic feed tendon and the Wagyu. They were both delicious but the Wagyu was a bit better. I don’t have any experience with Okonomiyaki but it made me want to try more. The wait was a bit long even though we came at around 10pm (~30 -40 min) but the food was outstanding.

Chanced upon this shop while looking for the train station, checked and saw good review in Google. Wait is around 15mins, the okonomiyaki is really good! Was not a fan of okonomiyaki but they serve real good ones. Worth the calorie!

We came here a couple of times during our stay in Osaka. We tried okonomiyaki in Kyoto, Hiroshima and elsewhere in Osaka, and this was our favourite of all of them. We also tried the negiyaki - similar to okonomiyaki but basically with scallions (green onion) in place of cabbage. That was really good too. The wait wasn’t too long on either visit, maybe 20-30mins. Make sure you come inside and put your name on the list as soon as you arrive. Both times we got to watch our ‘yaki’s being prepared. English menus are available and most of the staff speak English too.

I went here solo, and early, so finding a seat and being served was not an issue. I had the triple, so occy, pork and squid and it was very tasty, and cook right in front of u! As this was my first i have nothing to compare it to. But it was that good i want to go back! Definately worth it. If you have a large group tho, maybe not. Only small. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Some can speak English.

It’s a cool japanese experience! The food was good but not amazing. The staff is friendly and they have english menus if you don’t speak japanese. We got a table in the back room.

This is an average restaurant for Okonomiaki in my opinion. I think they may have become a victim of their own success. The beauty of Okonomiaki is its freshness and seeing it prepared. You get neither here. You order outside and then they prepare while you wait outside for a spot to become available. The timing of this can be a challenge and for me, my pork ended up overdone. So the caveats are: I have been only once and I arrived late (10pm). If you can be there at doors open and first on the list I suspect things might be a bit better. But during the peak times I might suggest finding somewhere else. It is however reasonably priced and the added sauces make for a tasty meal.

Arrived to put my name on the list twenty minutes before opening. Went for a short stroll before coming back. It was myself and my toddler. We were given a table in the back room. The server was incredible and spoke great English. The food was even better then I expected. I was particularly thankful for the server’s efforts in proving appreciate tableware for my daughter. Also that they catered to my request to no seafood due to allergies. I had the pork okonomiyaki. So much flavour!
