Baked Poetry has been in Peregian Beach village for many years so it has to be good to keep the locals coming back! I especially love the specialty Poets Iced Coffee and that kids can play on the grass in the square in full view of parents relaxing over their coffee.

The lemon tart was the highlight of this visit - decent size and very tasty - really enjoyable. The coffee was ok. The lady who served us - seemed bothered that they were reasonably busy and was not friendly or welcoming. The cafe is in a lovely location and has a great atmosphere if you sit outdoors.

We've eaten here twice in the last year, coming back the second time because the first was so good. It's just difficult to get a table. Al fresco dining for the most part, with lots of yummy cakes, muffins, and breakfast/lunch meals. Coffee was good the 2 times we went. Biggest problem is the local birds - even they like... More

Went there twice, once for coffee and then for breakfast. The food and service was great. The menu had different dishes from other cafes which was so refreshing to see and once ordered you were not disappointed in your order when it arrived at the table. The meal I had for breakfast spectacular and cooked to perfection. When I went... More

Mediocre coffee, burnt and bitter, croissant and fruit toast was ok though. Probably won't go back again. Only went there today as they had air conditioning and it was 35 degrees outside.

Absolutely beautiful fresh food, happy and friendly staff. Exquisite breads and the most divine cabinet of tarts that I didn't try but looked mouth-watering. A very busy cafe that seemed to be frequented by the locals, which is always a good sign. Will be back for more for sure.

Yum! They serve lattes with a cup of frothed milk and an espresso on the side which was delicious. Their baked goods are made fresh in store and are delicious.

This place opens a little later than the others, but it is worth the wait. Having said that be there early because it gets very packed out. Juices are great, coffee is great and their almond croissants are to die for. Definitely one to put on your list.
