A family run restaurant. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was beyond belief. This was the highlight of our European trip. If you're in the Napoli area, this is the restaurant you simply must try. The wait staff and owners made us feel so welcome and truly blessed us with great food and service. It is a toss-up on... The atmosphere is so welcoming, and you feel like a true local. The staff were friendly and gave us advice for visiting the city. They even gave us a free appetiser. Food was amazing and so cheap - I had a lasagna pizza. Plan to eat there constantly while in Naples

We spent three nights in Naples and went here for two of the nights and that's how good it was (the third night was at our b&b which served traditional home cooked food although it wasn't better than La Tradizione). I always thought Italian food was average but after my trip to Naples and eating here, I rank Italian as... More

Where to begin? We loved this place so much we went back a second time. I cannot say enough. It breaks my heart that such a gem is hidden in rundown Portici, where most will never get to experience it. Luigi, the owner(?), was the epitome of Italian hospitality! On our first visit, we arrived far too early for an... More

Recommended by the B&B we discoverd this nice restaurant. On the front you would not recognise this as nice one with an airconditioned gardenroom. The owner (Gigi) is very helpfull on choosing the menu and wines. A great place where you need to go if you're in the area. The whole place has a good atmosphere!

If you're visiting Naples or Ercolano, take the chance to have a meal here. Though not so visible or impressive from outside, the inside atmosphere is very pleasant, so much Napoli-polite-style. It offers excellent cuisine and wine selection. Fish is very good. However, it's probably not the cheapest site for a lunch or dinner.

First to arrive for dinner in the evening before 7:30pm and was treated superbly by the restaurant director. He help chose the fresh seafood to grill and plan the portion for the 4 of us. Given a couple of starters including eggplant parmigiana, and fried courgette flower stuffed with ricotta cheese - very good. We had octopus salad and fried small... More

We tried eating here the first night in Portici but were too early. Dinner is later in the evening in Italy so we had to walk around for 2 hours until 7pm. I would recommend making a reservation. The food was authentic for coastal Italy but being American, we just weren't used to fish with the eyes still on. It... More
