We booked the Bailie hotel for a hen weekend as they provided a brilliant package which included Causey farm. Michelle was the go to woman at the Bailie and her organisation skills were second to none!! from the moment we arrived, the welcome we got was so warm. You can tell its a family run hotel, all the staff across... More

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the restaurant is also 💯 % but we prefer to sit in the bar area as always good buzz in it not to mention the best steak sandwich for miles😊 Kids always welcomed & looked after with colouring books etc. Overall fantastic value for money.

Had a super overnight stay here , the staff were really friendly and helpful and did all they could for you. The lunch was tasty and dinner was well worth waiting for. A very busy wee spot and well worth a visit if your down that direction.

I picked this hotel and had a great 5 nights there as it was local to a christening we were attending on the Sunday. We got a room for 2 adults and 3 children. The rooms had a main door to lock that lead onto our 2 rooms that you could also lock. Very comfortable beds and both rooms were... More

The Bailie hotel restaurant in Bailyburough is a good spot for lunch. The menu was interesting and the food was very good. The restaurant is very comfortable and the staff very attentive and professional. Very nice find, we will be back and would recommend the Bailie without reservation.

It's a lovely setting, but definitely old-school. I had the carvery lunch - roast beef with brown gravy, turnips, cabbage, and three kinds of potatoes. My wife finished with the sherry trifle, another of Gram's favorites, but it was heavy and soggy. Everything was OK, but there was none of the creativity and panache that is so common in the... This is a great place. Very busy on weekends some nights the food can be amazing but other nights I have been less than impressed for example the salad one night was huge and delicious but tiny and plain a few days later. which is a shame as staff can be so lovely. Well worth checking out on a less... More
