Nicely situated with a view of the Mosel river and the vineyards on the other bank. Decent restaurant with quite an extensive menu. The rumpsteak is very tender and tases deliciously! Especially in the summer this restaurant is a good destination thanks to its terrace.

Great food, quick service; many of the staff speak some English if your HS German is too far behind you. Highly recommend the place and come hungry! They observe the First Rule of a German Gasthaus: if you leave hungry, it's your own fault!
While the site is beautiful and impressive the food is rather poor. my rump steak was like the sole of the shoe. All the other food that was ordered in my group was beneath what one would expect from such a lovely place.
