We got to know about this place from the staff at Jungle Hut resort who suggested that this is a decent place to have food. We ordered podi dosa and tomato rice and both were good to taste too. However, the place did not look very clean and needs some maintenance. Surprisingly, there was no one when we reached; so I assume it is usually not very busy.

The food quality is not good for the price we paid. Service is very slow. Idly sambar is very thin like Rasam. Costly food for the location and need to be reduced

We stopped by here to have our lunch enroute to Ooty and it turned out to be good. Do not expect the works however in the middle of nowhere this is a decent place. We ordered basic Indian lunch consisting of Dal Fry, Aloo Gobi and Phulkas ( rotis/ bread) accompanied with curd. The order was taken by the owner himself, Mr Madhusudan and within about ten minutes the food was served. It was freshly prepared and piping hot. The prices are quite reasonable. Overall a good experience. The restaurant accepts payment through Google Pay, Credit/ Debit cards and cash. However it is advised to carry cash since the mobile network is erratic in the jungle. A decent place for a break/ stopover but don’t go expecting too much, have patience and take a break.

One of the very few vegetarian restaurants located on the Mysore road serving some really good food.
We had ordered a veg. kadai, chapati, french friend, buttermilk, and veg, pakodas as parcel. The veg. Kadai was amazing. The yellow gravy tasted good and there were plenty of vegetables such as carrots, beans, cauliflowers, etc. The chapati was soft and nice too.
Coming to the french fries, they were fried to perfection and had the exact quantity of salt on them. Crisp and light the fries tasted amazing and in fact, the quantity was even better than what you get at McDonald's. The mix pakodas were good to contain a nice combination of onions, potatoes, etc.
The best part was the buttermilk we had ordered two glasses of it. It was freshly made and the spices they add do make it a little spicy but the taste was a perfect ending to the entire food. All in all the food and the taste was pretty good. For the restaurant, it is clean, spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The seats are comfortable and the ambiance is very good.

Not a good place to have anything. Tourists ar are left with no choice as there are no other places to eat. If the authorities let new restaurants come evn the tourism too will gain further.

Disappointing!!! No concept of customer service. The waiter took ages to reach our table and when he did, he took a long time to understand and note what we needed and then after a good wait of 30 mins came back with a wrong order and was constantly touching the food to show what he had got which itself does not speak for the hygiene factor. The owner is arrogant and unprofessional and does not mind losing customers 'cos of their pathetic service (rather gloats about his high reviews which i am sure will change soon!) Saw many people walking away like us! Do not recommend the place for people with exposure to good service.

Pretty much everything possible is wrong with this place. Firstly no one attends to you and they have to be told to send some one for practically everything - to clean the table, to take the order, to bring the order etc. We even noticed people in the adjacent table bringing their own plates from the kitchen since they had also been left unattended for too long. The frustration of having to wait for simple things was growing almost in every table around us. The owner could be least bothered and is not only dismissive but also arrogant if we try to complain. We had to leave without food since by then the morning of our holiday was ruined. There is not many options in masinagudi to eat but that is hardly a reason to treat people badly.

We were all vegetratian and specifically looking for pure veg restuarents. Navruchi was saviour for us. This was great restuarent near to our cottage (Bamboo Banks, another Gem :)). We had good North Indian Food and best part was Uncle provided Jain Food to us as well.
We informed uncle that we were going to come again for next two days, he made sure to provide us different food everytime. They have provided options which were not mentioned in Menu as well. They have created thalis for us as we were more than 10 adults.
Ofcourse it was not a 5-star restuarent but it is difficult to get nice North Indian food in that area. Prices were OK too.
4 star for food and 1 extra star for Uncle and his staff.
We had a memorable journey and food was part of it :)

It's a good place to have pure vegetarian food. It has a separate jain food menu as well. The food is good However, couldn't give five rating due to poor service. The staffs are limited.

We were driving from Bangalore to Ooty and were looking for a refreshing break before taking last leg of journey. As we crossed Masinagudi, saw this restaurant, looks to be popular spot based on cars parked. Clean and well maintained wash rooms is first need while you are travelling- it has them.
The food is only vegetarian but everything was cooked fresh. The restaurant serving phulka chapati was a delight. Would recommend as desirable break after crossing Bandipur, Madhumalai forests.
