This is an excellent restaurant, meals reasonably priced but moreover the restauranteurs are definitely "people persons" & if they ever retired, they would be a great loss.
Last minute booking,Welcoming atmosphere ,wealth of memorabilia to amuse, whilst on the lovely canapès.The owner is quite formal but welcoming and amiable,Good menu with a choice dishes and prices to suit all.Steak,Fish,or pie you wont be disappointed.Very nice evening .
A friendly welcome, pleasant ambiance and excellent choice of food. There were canapés and a jug of water on the table when we arrived. The food was appetising and well presented.
The meals were really beautifully cooked and very tasty.The dining room was run by the proprietor and he really new his job.All 3 meals were lovely
