My fiancé and I came here to celebrate his birthday and it was definitely a worthy experience. The waiter pleasant, food is just awesome and their wine wonderful. You definitely need to try Shkmeruli though be careful! The portion is huge! They also heard us talking about birthday and brought us some cake and turned on birthday music for us. It was very pleasing! The only thing that annoyed me is toilets. Would be nice if they take more care of so it’s working properly and you don’t feel disgusted. Toilet is just as important as food in restaurants! 👍

We were 4 friends who wanted to pay by splitting the bill by credit card but they rudely said that it was all on the same bill. They added things that we hadn't ordered. The food was overall the typical average georgian cuisine, very dry pork and potatoes. I don't think I would go back personally.

We went there while staying in stepantsminda. Great food, the person serving us was very friendly and chatty and even funny. Food was quite good except the portion for lamb bbq dish was really small for the price and felt a little under cooked. But amazing flavors overall. It has a little garden outside with a waterfall for a sit out.

A Georgian restaurant in the Kazbegi mountains is a real paradise for gourmets! Here, every dish is a real work of art, prepared with love and professionalism. The variety of the menu is amazing: from exquisite soups to juicy meat dishes, from aromatic meat to delicate desserts. Each dish is soaked in traditional Georgian spices, which give them a unique taste. However, it is not only the excellent cuisine that makes this restaurant unique. Genuine Caucasian hospitality reigns here, surrounding each guest with warmth and care. The staff warmly welcomes visitors, creating an atmosphere of coziness and comfort. And it’s especially pleasant that the attitude towards Russian visitors here is especially friendly and welcoming. The restaurant values every guest, regardless of their nationality, and strives to make their stay here unforgettable. By visiting this restaurant, you will immerse yourself in a world of tastes and aromas, filled with Caucasian flavor and hospitality. This is a place where you can not only enjoy excellent cuisine, but also feel the kindness and warmth of the hearts of each employee. A Georgian restaurant in the Kazbegi mountains is an ideal place for those who appreciate high quality service, an exquisite menu and a genuine atmosphere of Georgian hospitality.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and we were not disappointed. We ate here the three nights we were in town, each night having something different from their menu. We enjoyed every dish, but the Shkmeruli (chicken cooked in garlic, butter and sour cream) was by far our favourite. The different types of fresh bread were delicious too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great Georgian food - large portions and very affordable as well. They have a nice outdoor garden but only for drinks/shisha, food is only served inside. I definitely recommend calling to book a table, as they were constantly full and had people waiting. We had a Georgian salad with walnuts, potatoes with chicken, mushrooms and a chicken barbecue and it was all fantastic.

Very unremarkable and overpriced food. We ordered Ostri and chakhokhbili. Ostri was okay… I have made better Ostri watching a YouTube video. chakhokhbili was very bad. Both were lacking in spices, quite bland. Reading the 5 star reviews, I wonder if they’ve ever had Georgian food before, or if there was a different chef.

When we entered restaurant, staff not welcoming. Seemed they were focused on tour bus that was due to arrive. Told us we could not eat outside. We ordered lamb BBQ, but was just gristle, fat and bone. We ate none of it, complained, but they still charged… would not recommend this restaurant.

The foods were okay, but they were too rude and very cold attitude for me. Maybe they hate Asian people. I felt really bad for the difference service between European people and me. When I asked the menu, the owner said rudely “first sit and menu on the table”. He poured a beer to the special beer glass for European, but not for me, even the glass was not the same. When I went back to pick up my things I forgot, they said there was nothing left, but it was just 10min after I left, so I insisted that it must be there, then the owner thrown it to the table. It was really rude and discrimination attitude and I can’t understand the rating is so high. Maybe other Asians must have the similar experiences. Not recommend to go this restaurant!

This casual restaurant is in the river in Kazbegi, just past the bridge. There is more seating outside than in. Since it was almost nightfall & cool, I ate inside. I had a local Georgian beer, Zedazeni, quite flavorful. I started with the chicken salad, which was mostly chicken (not lettuce or veggies), shredded with Tasty dressing. I then had the Veal Ojakhuri, with sliced potatoes. It was flavorful-the menu also offered it with pork or chicken. No dessert on menu. I got a tomato sauce on the side (also offered plum sauce). Service was very friendly, and the bill was just under $20US.

I don't want to complain about the food because the food was delicious. thanks to chef. but the service staff was very rude. We didn’t know that there was no khinkali on the menu and we just told the waiter when we ordered. He asked “where did you see khinkali on the menu? show me where you saw.” he could have simply said that there is no khinkali. Okay, we could have ignored this and decided to order something else. But he hurried us all the time with questions: “Is that all?”, “Is that all”? asked 3-4 times while we were in a hurry and ordered wine and everything we saw there so that we wouldn’t ask again like “that’s all”? I also forgot to say that when we were ordering food and were choosing a salad, he simply turned around and went to other visitors because couldn’t wait for 5-10 seconds!. Bravo! Then when he brought water he gave us glasses saying “THIS IS FOR WATER” mocking us. We barely called them to ask for the bill. our waiter ignored us and did not look in our direction at all, so we ourselves had to go to the bar table and ask there. Another waiter came up and brought us the bill and brazenly asked for a tip. we didn't want to tip at first because the service must match the quality! But my friends insisted on leaving a tip just out of decency. We are all Asian, I suspect the restaurant staff are racist. Europeans were sitting next to us, and their attitudes towards them were completely different. I have never encountered such discrimination. If you are also Asian, I do not advise you to come here because you will experience terrible racism from the staff!

We ate here two times during our visit. The food was delicious, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. We had a bit of everything - salads, soups, beans, stews, khachapuri, and barbecue. Every dish was hot and tasty. Add a liter of dry red and it makes for a memorable evening!

We have come to almost empty restaurant. Although there we two waitresses and almost no other people we had to wait roughly half an hour to order. Due to that we ordered just soup. That was an average, not bad not exceptional. Similar problem with service occured when we wanted to pay. We had to wait again even when there were still no other guests.

As the name says, it really is cozy. A little stream runs through the outdoor space and the staff speaks English and is very friendly. Of course we were not able to try everything on the menu. We had the best mushroom cream soup of Georgia! They also have vegeterian choices!

If you want a good meal, you should definitely come here! Words cannot describe how fresh and delicious everything is. It seems as if the chicken kebab was running just a minute ago, it was so soft and juicy! The salads and soups are also very tasty; we couldn’t stop eating regular mashed potatoes. Excellent service I highly recommend it!
