Great place to have dinner. It is a small family run place that has great food for a good price. When you are eating indoor (what we had because of the weather) it really feels you are having dinner in someone’s living room. Service can be a bit slow if you end up coming in after other guests.

When we walked up to the house there were so many tables! This is a sign of a great restaurant. The food was beautifully homecooked Georgian food, the wine was brilliant and Maia is super friendly and a talented cook. I will be going back. Feels like visiting your grandma and having her cook some delicious food that you knownis going to be delicious every time!
We had 1 litre of wine, bread, Khachapuri, chicken and it fed me and my wife. This all costed 50 GEL.
Prices are great.

We Lithuanians rested in Kuro Kazbeki. We had the opportunity to taste the dishes of the Georgian country with Lunch at Maia.
Food – like with mom. Their traditional dishes, Chinkali, are similar to Lithuanian dumplings with meat, but the taste with broth is super. And Chachapuri and traditional and with a variety of herbs - very tasty.

Deliciously cooked beef soup, with just enough spice and tender chunks of meat. Couldn't be better.
Great khachapuri, light pastry with tasty filling.
We didn't need more than this.

This was our favourite restaurant in a two week trip exploring Georgia. The food generally is a very high standard (excellent local ingredients, cooked with passion) but this was at a different level. The chef had trained at a Michelin star venue in Portugal and this was clearly reflected in the menu. Beautifully presented, original concepts that combined contemporary with traditional cooking methods. We were bowled over by the presentation, the taste and the professionalism of the staff. And of course, a wonderful location and great value. Oh, and a very decent wine list too! Bravo!

Wow! I had never had Georgian cuisine and enjoyed it so much .We loved this place because it wasn’t just the typical dishes you usually find it was Georgian traditional dishes ,which are very appetitive.
I’ve been looking forward to trying Khinkhali and Georgian salad, everything was honestly delicious and I cannot wait to go back.
Atmostphere was very home and cosy . Maia was so polite and helpfull,she answered all the questions we had about the food and was a great hostess!

Stumbled upon this little gem. The people were so nice and the food was traditional Georgian. We had some take away in the evening and were so impressed we then came back for breakfast. Great simple food for the right price and friendly service thrown in for free ..

Great place to eat! Highly recommendable! The food is traditional Georgian cuisine: very good, tasty and delicious! The atmosphere of the place is veeery nice: it feels like eating in a local house, which makes everything so authentic! Maia and her partners are polite and nice and they try to make you feel comfortable all the time. And the location and the views are amazing! ¡I am definitely coming back to "Lunch at Maia"!
