We were welcomed during the rain with warm and friendly service from the owner himself. We received excellent service throughout our meal, and when he found out it was my birthday, he sent us with a full dessert to go, on the house. We stopped here by chance for a late lunch while travelling from Funchal to Faial. The owners were lovely and the food was excellent - perfectly prepared and cooked with thoughtful touches which made for a really interesting dish! Very different from some of the...bland 'tourist' fare we've had in other restaurants. So a full 5 stars for food, service and price!More
