Hii I just visited this place and trust me one of the best places to visit . Their hospitality is so good. You’ll have the best dal bati churma . The people here are so lovely and so loving that we didn’t feel like we...were outsiders, their khaatirdaari was next level and the kids were super cute . Ramesh hosted us and we had an authentic Rajasthani food. And mr paras took us for the bishnoi village safari and showed us every damn places ,black bucks, peacock , different flowers and birds we visited lake and did pottery took amazing pictures went for shopping then block printing also they shown us how to hhmake opium and it’s impoemrtance . We drove the car also and he made sure we see and cover entire village and it was worth it. Please visit them Thankyou ShefaliMore
They offered me real and authentic rajasthani food. Would recommend you all to visit their house for such nice hospitality by them.
On the last day in Jodhpur, our driver suggested we visit the 4 villages. We had never heard about it. Went to Salawas to see the Durry making. Very highly impressed by the skills of the craftsmen. There we were offer lunch. It was a...simple Rajasthani lunch. Rotla, local specialit veg, kadhi, pickles etc. Awesome tasty food and great hospitality. They have 2 decent rooms for those who want to stay there. Everything very neat and clean. The durries were very tempting and our entire group bought durries, though we had never planned to do so. Highly recommend a visit to this placeMore
I tried Salawas food for first time; the food was great and tasty. In the short highly recommended. Thank you Parasmal
Came here with Paras. Very nice host and great food. We did the whole tour of the Bishnoi village. They also sell handmade durry, which are good and reasonably priced Recommended!
From Bajra Roti to Cudhi, they serve everything a local Salawar Villagers would have and trust me, the taste is just out of the world. Also, they have some great collection of rugs.
Namaste from India You have read lot of comments about this place on different websites and travel expert websites, let me tell you about this village first. It was the best place I ever visited. The best thing about this place or village is- Love,...love, and love. This whole village is so friendly that I visited more than 12 families without knowing them. They offered me Indian masala chai and a lot of love. Then from wide streets from this, I landed up to this place called Salawas food. Basically it is a beautiful village house made up of woods and mud with amazing bunch of beautiful souls. I wish can explain my experience over there, what a place everyone. This place runs by a beautiful and loveable family, and if you want to taste the actual ingredients from India, this is the must place. The food is too good, and it's not about just food, the main ingredient was love and taste. They put their heart, soul, and everything to make the food. And believe me guys, the food was crafted so well that I can still feel Niagara fall in my mouth. If you guys are in 4-6 people or a group, they have beautiful traditional huts with moderns toilets attached to it. Unfortunately, I booked one place in Jodhpur, else 200% I had the experience to stay with them. 2nd most important thing was, all the three brothers were so amazingly talented with weaving Mats or carpets or Dari that we can not explain. Being a designer I got complex from these craftsmen, that whether I know color psychology well or these people know. Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful craft experience you can have with this family. You can buy your mats, carpets, or Dari from this place. I can assure you guys that you will not regret because they will make carpets from scratch in front of your own eyes. In short, it was an experience rather than a visit. The best experience from my Jodhpur trip.More
The food was amazing and the hospitality was beyond words. It was like a home away from home, I would definitely recommend my friends and other fellow travelers to have this amazing experience when you visit Salawas and do not miss Baajre ki Roti, topped...with incredible stories.More
