We Visited twice actually, our first was a post rehearsal bite among cast members. Our experience the first time was so lovely we immediately planned to go again after our show which came in the next couple of days. Both our visits were lovely, we were treated with such kindness and respect and the owner had a such a way of connecting to us as customers which was thoroughly enjoyable. The environment, setting and food was lovely, pefect for a variety of occasions especially pre/post show at the theatre a minute walk down the road (so much so that we were compelled to visit twice in one week as the cast) Very accommodating and prompt service perfect for 1-6 people (possibly more).

We fancied a coffee and bite to eat and stumbled across this delightful cafe. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The Turkish coffee was delicious, smooth and strong, not bitter at all unlike so much coffee. My son loved his chicken sandwich and my lentil soup was probably the best I’ve had, accompanied by fresh, homemade ‘balloon’ bread which was so good. Lots of vegan choices on the menu. We definitely intend to return

Very friendly service and a large variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food was delicious and they even have vegan desserts!! As London prices go it wasn't out of this world expensive either.
Only bit of advice I would give to the owner is that the dishes aren't labeled very clearly as to what is exactly vegan. I feel that if it were labeled better than the whole experience would have been perfect.
Can't wait to come again!! ☺️

We have lived in Highgate for over 20 years and it is finally seeing some lovely hip bistros and this is now top of our list. We visited for quick snacks previously, but this time were a group of 15 so we got to taste a variety of extraordinary dishes. This is not your usual Turkish fare, a wow inducing eclectic Mediterranean spread; nothing was greasy, all generous portions, and delicious. The owner is nice and chatty, and consequently the service is friendly and homely. Right outside Highgate tube station, a stone's throw from Jacksons Lane theatre, as well as being near all the local pubs - so there's no excuse, go try it!

Lovely food and atmosphere 👌
If you haven't tried the corgette soup, I totally recommend - works hand in hand with the balloon bread.
The pizza 🍕 is also lovely & they have some tasty sarmas if you are in the mood vegetarian treats.
For the sweet tooth, would recommend the baklava 😊

Great range of breakfast options, wraps, soups and pizzas. Been here a couple of times and I'm always impressed by the quality - and the generosity of the portions! The balloon bread is a particular highlight, really fresh and tasty.

Finished a leg of the Capital Ring, and was looking for a lunch spot. This cafe was the busiest, which is usually a good sign.
Friendly greeting upon arrival. My son had a Turkish breakfast which was a generous portion of sweet and savoury things. He loved it, although the Turkish teas never arrived.
I had a falafel wrap with salad which was very good.
My wife had a Turkish dish, similar to a baigel with melted cheese.
Happy with the food and service and would visit again.
Mastercard cards accepted.

Best fun we've had in ages. We were welcomed like family and made ourselves at home.
The food was 100% fresh made for us and utterly delicious. The balloon bread has to seen to be believed. We had the more Turkish side of the menu.
A great place with a lovely relaxed vibe for meeting friends highly recommend for a happy night out.

We found this café just in passing, and were pleased we did. The server was very welcoming and helpful, and the café clean and comfortable. Our meal (we both had vegetable lasagne) was good, and had a decent sized salad accompaniment. The prices, especially for the area, were very reasonable. The only minor downside was the route to the (clean) toilet, which was cluttered and unappealing, but they are very limited for space. We would definitely go back.

Food is medium. Service is deliberate to make you costumer. Not sure of the hygiene based on the toilets and the way to go there. Smells a bit.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food delicious and fresh. Live music was provided by a very good Brazilian guitarist accompanied by a couple of talented singers. A great evening out!
