We enjoyed a great meal and evening. The food was excellent. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. Christine was super front of house and so engaging. The wine choice and all good were of excellent quality. We were a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Wine was good temperature and choice. Highly recommended.

We visited Nook and Cranny last night and it was a wonderful experience. The setting down a country lane set the mood, of getting away from the usual chain restaurant. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was quirky but pleasant. The food was a delight, We had the set menu, two courses for £18 which I thought was very... More

We really enjoyed our meal at this friendly restaurant. The seafood risotto was full of fish and seafood, really tasty. Scallop starter , beautiful fresh sweet scallops, no room for dessert. Friendly waiting staff. My other half had a beautiful broccoli soup, then steak and chips, all lovely, would recommend you to try.

Situated in a small off the beaten track hamlet this resturant has style of its own, furnished with older styles of furniture, attentive staff and we'll priced menu's. Food tasty and we'll presented, sensible priced wines.Only criticism is that some of the seating is not very comfortable.

We received a very warm welcome. A jug of water was brought without having to ask. The service was prompt, efficient and the food very good (apart from my steak which, though very tasty, was rather chewy). We chose, from a limited menu, grilled asparagus and Thai fish cakes to start; the rump steak (had a £3 supplement), was served... More

We went here for lunch with some friends and were not disappointed! Amazing steak! Thoroughly recommend and would love to go back for their wine tasting evenings and to try their afternoon tea!

This is a hidden gem. It is a real find. The food is outstanding. The set course menu is fantastic value at £22 for 3 courses. Each plate of food left us wanting to lick our plates clean, yes it really was that good. We will definitely be going back again and again!

This was our second visit to the restaurant. We were impressed with the service and quality of the restaurant during our lunch visit so invited some friends for an evening meal. The service was as just as good, as was the quality of the food. Our friends were delighted with the evening. I had the cream of mushroom soup followed... More

Visited on Groupon offer and not disappointed. Personally found choices on set menu preferred to A la Carte. Crab cake and parfait starters tasty and well presented as was the calves liver we had for main. Slightly disappointed that apple tart we ordered from a la carte menu for dessert was served cold, would have been better warm with some... More
