We dined at the Country Club on Christmas Eve and although there were not many others there, we thought the food was very reasonably priced and good quality. The seafood was cooked nicely and was tasty and others commented that the steaks were also cooked to perfection. I had played 9 holes at the course earlier in the day and had the home cooked pie with salad and chips and I must say that the pie was extremely tasty. The large dining room with views over the challenging golf course are great with further vistas to the ocean beach.

Food was great. Had the chicken schnitzel, kids calamari and chips and the hot stone grill surf and turf. Every thing we had was really lovely the hot stone grill beef was amazing well worth the price. The view was amazing and there was plenty of space. I wish they had a kids play area and if the staff members had a more chipper attitude.

Classic Aussie club atmosphere and meals. We ate here twice during our stay in the area and both times the meals were good, generously portioned and quite well cooked, with efficient but friendly service. Nice surroundings, a decent, clean venue. And those killer views!! For a club, the prices weren’t super cheap but I think that’s probably the norm these days. Would certainly go back.

We decided to go the the Tura Beach Country Club for an evening meal. We arrived before dark so we could enjoy the Million $ views overlooking the golf course and out to the ocean whilst sipping our drinks.
Sadly this was where our enjoyment ended after ordering and receiving our serves of Roast of the Day which was lamb. The meal was under-whelming as the roast potatoes, pumpkin and sweet potatoes were bite sized pieces and looked like they had been re-heated from the previous day. Tiny amount of cauliflower and broccoli on my plate and my husband had beans! The lamb wasn’t too bad and the gravy helped disguise it. What a shame! This was the worst roast meal we can remember. They really have to get their act together to provide better food. By the way the meal cost $24.00 pp.

I’m a local and I keep asking myself why I keep going back here in the hope the food improves when it never does. I have made numerous suggestions to management over a long period and my concerns were never addressed or responded to. Thursday night is a “special” fish and chips night. I couldn’t see one of the eight people dining tonight who had this special. I thought I would go safe and ordered the $22 beef burger. What I got was a microwaved from frozen chunk of mince that was so overcooked it resembled something a dog might leave behind. The best part of the meal was the bun. My dining companions ordered the eye fillet steak sandwich and were looking around to borrow some teeth to chew it. Then again, the website says “new 2023 menu” so I suppose that’s when they cooked and froze it, then served it in 2024. As one of only 2 restaurants in Tura Beach open for dinner you would think they would listen to their customers/members and improve their food.

Food was nice. But - they would not take Dine and Discover, even though they advertise it on the front door. They also would not give us a receipt for our order. We complained. Nothing was done.
Meals all arrived at different times.

What a wonderful welcome and that was just reception. What a great club offering food, drinks, pokies and of course golf. Great menu including wood fired pizzas. Large bar and pokies and all with killer views from floor to ceiling windows across the entire club. Friendliest staff in town. Well worth a visit. Very reasonably priced.

Dined with 7 people on a Friday. The huge pizza oven was not in operation and hasn’t been for months and months. Pizza is on the menu and a few weeks ago I had a very nice Mexican - lots of filling, plenty of cheese and very good crust. (But not cooked in the wood fired oven) A few of us had pizza this time around. Each pizza seemed to be the same frozen base, very little cheese and pepperoni and onion barely visible. Chicken pizza? Same frozen base with chicken spread on top. Mexican? Same frozen base with jalapeños spread on top. Seafood? Yep. Same again. The result was a greasy pizza with a super crisp base. If we wanted frozen pizza we could have gone to the supermarket. Not a great effort and management never responds to feedback whether it be positive or negative.

Cold soggy chips, limp salad and the worst attempt at Thai food ever, l would go as far to say it was an insult to even call it Thai cuisine.
Meat was overcooked, more of a "stewfry" rather than stir fry

Best. Steak. Ever.
A typical NSW Golf Course Country Club with a pokies vibe and a decor reminiscent of 2005. We visited in the evening so missed the ocean views. No doubt spectacular during the daytime.
But the eye fillet steak - oh my - easily judged it the best I’ve ever eaten before I had to cook it myself on the Steak Rock Grill at the table.
A unique experience that allows you to cook a prime cut to your liking. And when you are paying $36 - you have no one to blame for overcooked beef when you are in control. It was hands down the tastiest and most tender piece of eye fillet I’ve ever had. The self-service rock grill seared the cut perfectly and it’s up to you how much you cook each mouthful any further. I found I cooked each bite less than the one before as it was genuine melt in the mouth rare fillet steak.
The side of veggies was generous with a lovely wedge of Kent pumpkin cooked well and crunchy greens of broccoli and beans. I chose garlic butter as an accompaniment but would choose a sauce next time. The usual mushroom pepper gravy and jus were available.
We paired the steak with a glass of house red - a Shiraz that came in a generous glass for $5.50 - got to love club prices for quaffing vino!
I spoke to the Chef after the meal and told him how much I enjoyed the steak and said to keep using his beef supplier - it was divine.
I rarely write a review. This was was exceptional food for a modest feed-the-masses venue. I can’t recommend he steak menu more highly.

Four of us visited for lunch 4th May 21, and suffice to say we won’t be going back, two had roast of day could not get your fork into the pork, one had the beef pie meat that tough he could not chew it, one had battered fish, which was still part frozen inside, the Pambula golf club has gone the same way and it’s bistro is now closed so Tura Beach country club might well wind up the same, get your act together Tura

11 dollar Monday to Friday lunch menu, awesome food, awesome staff very friendly and frankly one of the very few places who have blamed COVID-19 for any changes they have been forced to make. Great weekly evening menu specials this place is a must visit if going to Merimbula.

I recently became a member and decided to bring visiting family here.
The Receptionist on the front desk was lovely and helpful but from there on it went downhill fast.
I was totally embarrassed at the quality of the food and basic service.
The menu is very restricted . We ordered roast pork and it came without crackling or apple sauce - a crime in itself - and the meat was dry and uninspiring.
It was a Sunday night and a trainee waitress was working. She walked past our table several times and didn't pick up anything from our cramped table.
The scene was very much for older people - similar to a nursing home.
Left feeling dissatisfied and embarrassed.
Not recommended.
