Nice, friendly pub with decent, no frills pub grub - £5.50 for a basket meal. Child friendly and lots of parking. Oh, and they do a good pint of beer too!

Although it isn't the poshest place in the world we had a great time, drinks were reasonably priced (£6.10 for a Guiness and a Bells and coke) and the locals and owners... More

Standard pub food at reasonable prices. Service was good . although we were the only customers. Did the job, would revisit if in the area and just wanted the basics.

Stopped here yesterday on our way to Aberystwyth . Pub wasn't even supposed to be open but seeing me peer in the window they very kindly opened up and served us and let us use the facilities. Only sorry we couldn't stop on the way home to try the food. An excellent find with lovely friendly staff and a beautiful... More

Had dinner at this pub, the food was ok just basic pub grub at a reasonable price. Staff were chatty and made you feel welcome, would recommend this pub as it is dog friendly and the staff are very welcoming.

The A40 between Gloucester and Ross is a long and winding road with few places to stop for refreshment. The Nags Head is an ideal place to stop for a pint and a meal. The car park is on the opposite side of the road from the pub so you must take care crossing the road. We got a very... More
