We were a group of 14 for a family birthday. The food was as always delicious!! Service was very friendly and helpful.
Only criticism would be that we had to wait one and half hours for our meals!!! This was far from ideal especially when we had 5 young children with us. While the waiting staff were very apologetic and gave us a free bottle of wine. We were told the delay was due to the kitchen processsing the takeaway orders and they were slammed with takeaway ordered. I would have to say that the kitchen should really look after the people who have booked and chosen to eat in the restaurant over the takeaway orders. Especially when we requested even if they could get the kids meals out ASAP. But they didn’t do that either.
Couldn’t fault the food when it arrived or the waiting staff. Food so good.

We've been eating here for years and the food is just really good, no matter what we order. Pretty much every time we have an Indian meal anywhere else we're disappointed. Plus the little things - they always get the order right, it's always ready on time, super friendly, poppadoms in the bag, piping hot fresh naan, great quality lean meat - it's all appreciated.

First class food, great portion sizes and quality. Service very friendly and prompt. Great atmosphere with a window into the kitchen. Ive spent a lot more money on Indian restaurants well below corianders in quality and value.

We both ordered the gold banquet and thought it was great value. Currently $50 gets you a platter starter which was more then enough, then I could only finish half my curry as a I knew I had dessert to come. No complaints all round, the staff were great and food perfect my favourite being the lamb achari. We will certainly be back!

We went late in the afternoon - 2 couples and one 4 year old child. First customers on that evening and we ordered a three course meal basically on arrival.
Room was still empty and a bit cold ... 19 degrees is not what I would call "cosy" for a restaurant. Got warmer during the evening - guests act as heater as well.
On the plus side: The food (starters as well as mains, naans and all the other stuff) was very good and cooked to the ordered spicy-ness. Just based on food quality they clearly would deserve 5 stars. The desserts not too bad, though the ice cream (2 scoops in a glass, no cream, sauce or decoration) maybe a bit boring and not to the standard of the other courses. Good ice cream quality, though. Only exception from the plainness of the desserts: The chocolate brownie with ice cream is a sizzler ...!
What did put us back was the waiting times - we arrived at 5pm, we got the starters at 6pm and the mains at 7pm, which sort of tested the patience of the four year old and the young family with us. Main came all together (which is good), some of them have been really hot and fresh, others were more lukewarm - long wait in the kitchen?Desserts came then (after a hurry up) at 7.30.
To be fair, staff was as well quite embarrassed about the waiting times and apologized. Maybe some problems in the kitchen?
OK - I think we will give them at some stage another chance (the food was really good), but not sure I will try it next time again with guests and a smaller child.

Took some friends here as we hadn't been before. The place was freezing as in so cold people had coats on whilst eating. We asked if the heating could be put on but they said it didn't work. We asked for the fire to be on but it didn't work properly and kept clicking and going off. It also had no safety glass on the one side. Half the chairs in the restaurant were missing the bases. The onion bargies arrived stone cold and tatesless. The main meal was good. They turned off the fire after people left accept us so we left as soon as the meal was finished. -10 in rating total embarrassment that we took our friends there for a treat.

Very kid friendly, the staff were really accommodating and kind. The highlight was the chocolate naan, so yum! Would definitely return again.

Went on a Saturday for lunch - and had not that high expectations, given that the restaurant was empty. However - we received friendly service and freshly prepared and very good meals.
Hotness of meals as ordered ... and the naans have been some of the best I ever had in an Indian restaurant.
Room was initially a bit cold (it was a cold winter day outside), but warmed up soon - and atmosphere is cosy. On the other hand - its not too large, i.e. if you go at more busy times, its probably a good idea to reserve a table.
Anyway - we intend to come back ...

We were on our way home from Christchurch and decided to stop here for dinner. The service was so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, so tasty we could not fault a thing. Really enjoyed the experience

Served by two lovely young ladies (unfortunately i didn’t get either of their names) Absolute lovely, kind service and stunning food, Cooked to perfection. Everything came out in record time . Also ordered the most stunning mojito . Overall great atmosphere to the restaurant and super easy parking . Will definitely be returning

We ordered the 2 for the gold banquet and 1 children banquet the gold one is amazing food tastes so good and my daughter loved the food it’s tastes so good I always leave some to have next day also had a cheeky apple and pear cooler which was made to perfection
