We stayed for one night at Broomhill Art Hotel but will return. The ambience is lovely particularly if you enjoy art in all it's forms although most of the art is contemporary. However the furnishings and decoration are also interesting. The room was clean and perfectly adequate with a small functional bathroom. What stands out however, apart fro the art,... More

Mixed views about this hotel and would describe it as good rather than average - but certainly not very good. Some positives and some negatives. The staff were very friendly. The ground floor public rooms were very pleasant, light and spacious with interesting art work on display. The restaurant was good and made for some civilised dining with a pleasant... More

After a lovely morning walk around the two parts of the sculpture park, we popped into the Broom Hill Hotel for Lunch. The lunch menu is basically Tapas with a good mixture of hot and cold dishes. We thought the food was excellent value and tasted wonderful. Well worth popping in after enjoying the art.

We had no plans but to stay on the west coast of devon. We picked this place the day before and are so happy with our choice. The hotel is in a lovely bush setting away from towns and people but a quick drive will take you to muddiford a wonderful little town and pub. The rooms are small but... More

Have been wanting to visit as the Sculpture Garden sounded fun. The set priced 3 course meal was terrific value and has won numerous awards. Very good with such treats as local mussels, venison, rabbit and duck confit on the menu. Friendly and efficient service with quirky, stylish and arty looking rooms to dine and lounge. Interesting tapas menu available... More

We had an unexpectedly fantastic lunch in the gorgeous hotel in shabby chic style. the staff were very friendly and professional and lunch included an amuse bouche before our set which was delicious. portions were pretty big and the pasta starter was pretty much main course size-I was stuffed. lovely local cider and ingredients. the rooms are full of art... We were seated in the restaurant rather than the gallery. A very nicely appointed room. Service was excellent and good choices for set 3 course lunch. The portion size was large, a very filling meal. The food for the 1st and 2nd course was absolutely delicious. The desert courses were limited.

We visited as a part of 10 during half term as 6 adults and 4 children (11-15 years old). Both sculpture parks were fascinating and had enough to keep everyone interested for a couple of hours. We had a drink from the cafe/restaurant alongside our packed lunch. Lovely staff and reasonable prices.

We decided to get away in North Devon for a couple of days & found a late booking offer here. The setting is querky & magical, the room was comfortable and spacious. We had evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed the slow cooked dishes. Well done

We went to the Broomhill Art Hotel for a Sunday lunch to celebrate my parents Wedding Anniversary. We had the most superb lunch, it was beautifully presented, tasted jolly delicious and there was plenty of it. The service was excellent and SO friendly. When the bill came at the end of the meal we were extremely surprised how reasonable it... More
