This restaurant was recommended to us, as we were anxious to try some Thai food. We were not disappointed. Visiting the house was lovely in itself, but the food was tremendous. It was a bit pricey, but we knew this to begin with.

We were trying to see the place next door which was an old Chinese mansion, it was closed to the public due to filming occurring. We came here for a coffee and because it was also an old mansion. Although we stood around for 15 minutes or so and another couple were being served, no one approached or indicated any... More

Took my wife of 37 years to the Blue Elephant for our anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. The meal was sensational. Not big portions but plenty to eat. A real traditional taste of Thailand. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

I took my wife (and dad/dad's girlfriend) to the Blue Elephant for her birthday, and don't regret a thing. The meal, while expensive for Thailand, was amazing. We ordered the lunch course for Friday, and it was a lot of food. Not only that, but everyone had at least one alcoholic drink, and my dad's girlfriend (who is a vegetarian)... More

This restaurant is set in an incredible stately building in its own grounds. Although in a higher than average price bracket it is worth the visit. The interior is beautiful and the food delicious. Two of our friends prefer non-spicy food and choose ribs in organic honey which were outstanding. The roasted duck curry and fish curry were also perfect.... More

Our cab driver suggested this place for our anniversary dinner. The place was gorgeous with such nice ambience and the food mouth watering. Some nice wine selection and go for chef recommendation and your dinner is set.

First of all the restaurant is set in a beautiful colonial building in Phuket town. It's worth seeing. They have a bar were you can go and just have a drink. There is a shop where you can buy blue elephant products and the restaurant. The food tastes very nice, but not outrageously good for the price.

The place was the old royal house, so you know it's grand. You walk in past the bar where they offered a small drink (juice) to start. to walk into the restaurant, you have to walk through their store first. Which I thought was a bit strange but since it is also a cooking school for tourists, I get it.... More

I read the reviews for Blue Elephant, was especially impressed that we could get gluten free meals there. As a gluten free person, that's what's the most important thing. There were 5 of us, so we ordered like 10 things to share. I asked the waitress what's gluten free, she said just tell her what we would like, and they... More

Dear sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Let us first apologies if the executive team member did not react in time for your order as I'm sure this could have been avoided. I am a little confused though....as here is a genuine understanding of gluten free for soybeans. Pure soybeans do not have gluten in... More
