What can we say every meal was fantastic, best food in Karon Beach. All prepared fresh and the staff are very friendly.

Tried Sabaijai Cafe on our second day on Karon and came back every day after that (except that the cafe was closed on Sunday). Tried different food every time, and everything was really good - especially have to mention spring rolls, stir fried chicken with...thai basil, pad thai and the banana smoothies!More

This is the best place to eat in Karon by far. Trying hard to go to other places but this place is so good it surpasses everywhere else!

very basic, not sure why its rated so high, maybe due to the area it is in, outside of the town has its advantages as the town is very commercialised.

This cafe/restaurant was a short walk from the Mandarava Hotel where we stayed. Tried it on our third day and went back nearly every night. The place is spotless and run by a few women. It is only a small place but very popular and...busy and they also do really good coffee. I tried the green curry, panang curry (twice), vegetable fried rice and red snapper in chilli sauce all delicious. My wife had king prawns in garlic, panang curry with roti and various starters. Good quality food cooked fresh and cheap. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.More

Simply amazing! After seeing this place on TA had to give it a try (especially as it was a 3 min walk from our hotel) well the green and also the panang curries were next level. Love Thai food at home but this is our...first trip to Thailand and you can tell it’s just more fragrant than what we get at home. The ladies serving were attentive and polite, we made the wise choice and booked through TA which was a good idea as they’re sooo busy. Also we got a 10% discount booking through TA (not really needed as the prices are so reasonable). We were advised that there would be a half hour wait for food (totally acceptable) but they apologised at the end for the wait (again not needed). My wife had an iced caramel macchiato at the end which was also AMAZING cannot recommend this place enough. If you don’t go you’re missing out big time! Also I don’t want miss out the fact that it was really clean and well organised.More

This little unassuming cafe serves the best Thai food, it was only a short stroll from our hotel, we tried a few other places but ate here 4 times in a one week stay. We had the panang curry, green curry, fried red snapper in...chilli sauce, a few tiger prawn dishes and the vegetable rice is huge and more than enough for 2, everything was delicious and fresh, they get very busy as it's not a big place so we booked each time after our first visit. All the ladies that work/cook there are lovely. Visit once and you'll be hooked, it's a must!More

We were trying to figure out where to go for dinner, so off to Tripadvisor we go. Turns out one of the top rated restaurants (Sabaijai Cafe) was a 5 minute walk from our hotel. We got off to a bit of a rough start...as there was a waiting list to get in. Not a big deal, but they seemed to be randomly letting people take tables who had just arrived. They also wanted us to order our food before we had secured a table. But once we had our food, all was forgiven. Just fantastic Thai food. We went twice, ordering different items from the menu both times (we ordered the Crispy Chicken Larb both times because, well because we could OK) and all the dishes were amazing. Don't be put off by the rather odd seating arrangements, just enjoy the food if you are in Karon.More

The place is quite small inside only about 6/7 tables so it doesn’t take long to fill up. We didn’t really notice peak times just a steady stream of people my advice if you go past it and there is an empty table give them a... More

It's very close... definitely within 10 minutes if not closer. We stayed at the Novotel and visited most days.
