I feel ashamed to say I've never visited this pub, which is pretty close to where i live. However it was my birthday and we decided to take advantage of the Mon-Wed 50% scheme. We chose this pub over others because there were at least...4 vegetarian dishes on the menu. The owner was welcoming and very friendly throughout our entire visit. A down to earth guy who was more than helpful to talk through other dish options when it came to ordering food. Drinks - a great selection of gins (with the option to 'go for a double, at very reasonable price 👍 Food - brie wedges to start with on a bed of salad and coleslaw...it was so welcoming to see a good amount of salad rather than a few leaves on the side of the plate. Mains ordered; sirloin steak, The Lark burger and goats cheese tart. The steak came with a range of vegetables along with onion rings. The burger and bacon were tasty and served again with chips and onion rings... the goats cheese tart was made with flaky pastry..my favourite. So in total we had 2 starters and 3 mains and 3 drinks (£32)!!! It was definitely worth more than the £20 we paid on the (food) government scheme, however due to the scheme we went there and we now will definitely go again.More

A proper pub which you dont see very often these days. Called in whilst in the area and was not disappointed. Only had a sandwich and it was well worth the wait. Very good selection of beers. Quite a few friendly locals, good friendly publican...and even a friendly dog making himself comfortable. Only drawback is that the pub is situated on a very busy main road without a car park, so p[arking is at a premium. Well worth a visit.More

Lovely pub, an open fire, friendly locals and nice food. There were a couple of nice dogs in there and some children, a nice family atmosphere but not noisy. Beer was good.

While staying at Studley Castle for a couple of nights, my husband and I decided to call in to "The Little Lark" it's a lovely warm and friendly pub with a village ambience. Dave Abbott is the welcoming publican who offers home cooked food at...affordable prices and locally brewed Real Ale. The Little Lark holds a Certificate of Excellence from Cask Marque. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. There is a Pensioner's Lunch menu on Tuesday to Thursday (2 courses for £6).We will definitely be back well done to Dave and all the little larks !!More

Apologies for the slow reply, but yes we certainly are dog friendly. We even have treats they can help themselves to. Hope to see you soon.
