Popped in as we were staying in The Old House just a stones throw away. Very friendly. Lovely quaint garden with lots of Dragon flies and a children's play area which pleaded our 3&4 year old.

I regret to say that the Rose & Crown Inn in Nether Stowey has been closed for a year and as yet there are no signs of it re-opening. Great pity it was good and convenient
This pub is now closed. I have no idea whether it will open in the future. It is a shame as it is an old coaching inn with bags of character which was an asset to the village.

Visited both evening's of our Valentine's Day weekend break . Always a great welcome and the beer was tasty and good value.
Recently moved into the village, my wife and I managed to pop out for a drink, very warm welcome awaited us by the landlord , had a couple of pints of cheddar valley sat by the fire... Fantastic place to come and chill out...
