A very large restaurant on the beachfront with a beautiful view of the bay. The food was excellent. We had fried fish, Chillo, that was very fesh and delicious. We also had shrimp in butter sauce that was superb! The prices are a bit high, but the taste was well worth it. they have large fish tanks with beautiful tropical salt... More

I ve been hear with family and friends a few times now. The food is great (lobster mofongo) A+. You do have to be a little patient because the place is packed most of the time. Its located in el Malecon witch is a highly visited area for locals, dont expect a nice quiet place to eat. Theres lots of music... More

Went on Augost 2013 with a family group of 10. Everybody loved the lobster, carrucho and chillo. We dont give a 5 star because the "salsa criolla" for the mofongo a and other plates was too salty. Also, dont expect a huge mofongo. It was a good overall experience and would recomend this rest.

Unfortunate ending to a nice day exploring the south shore. Waited twenty minutes for the wrong drink order to arrive. After another forty minutes most of the tables around me had received their orders but I was still waiting. Left cash on the table and left. To say the service was inefficient would be an understatement. People next to me... More

This place was recommended by friends, and they were correct. They are known for their stuffed lobster.....we had the seafood salad which was great as well as the arepas de coco and finally the mofongo with churasco. All freshly made and a great view as well. We were able to sit out on the porch and the weather was ideal.... More

They must of had a new guy cooking the food. It wasn't seasoned very well. The cheese over the pasta tasted canned like the kind you get over nachos at the movies. The fried shrimp was hard as if left in the fryer too long. In addition, plates were in the $18-30 range. The view, however, was magnificent. My advise... More

The Actual Name of this Restaurant is MAKITO'S !! Reviews under other misspellings won't help you find it -- and find it you must. This fish restaurant is on the harbor and on the second floor, right over the dock where the fishermen bring their catch. That should tell you all you need to know. Fresh fish, restaurant populated mostly... More
