Goan restaurants generally boast of cooking pork perfectly..... but I think Ida has surpassed most of them!! I was looking for a good meal in Vagator and was fortunate to get a table at Ida. The music was a medley of familiar and very familiar...tracks and the beer soon set the vibe! The menu held the pork chops in high esteem and it was too good to miss. But when the dish was presented, it promised more than expected. The meat was succulent and tender, and the accompaniments perfect! With a couple of beers to wash it down, I was a happy camper! Folks go for it if you love to eat a pork chop with just a fork! it is truly a winner!More

We visited cafe Ida on our recent holiday to north goa and we were pleasantly surprised by this lovely place The ambience was nice and chic , the service was very warm and the selection on the menu was nice we tried a few starters...and the corn fritters stood out . The cute washrooms was the best ever i have seen Anisha and the other girl who served whose name i cannot recollect were very chatty and friendly. What a divine dining experience. I am still in awe of the flavour tsunami I took over my palate & overwhelming with not one but every element of the whole evening out at Ida. Quaint, whimsical and magical as the ambiance is, the food &...bar concoctions surprise with attention to detail & intricacy of recipes. The menu is just big enough to give you options but not confuse you. We tried some 16 dishes give or take and every one managed to wow us. Recommendations- Curried Fried Calamari- I mean woaaaa, deep fried with specs of fried curry leaf powder. Too damn good! Prawn PopCorn was super super super good, crunchy tiny prawn bites, deep fried, crispy & tossed in a spicy piri piri dust, much like KFC popcorn but better. Beef Chilly Fry- so tender & loaded with a masala fry mix, aromatic & again, flavoured hugely. Mushroom Galouti, most creamy & intense galouti, wow Cheesey Poi bites were a take on the classic chilly cheese toast, very very cheesey & well done. Chicken Bruschetta, fresh, chunky & delish. Beef Steak, so well done, tender- so juicy served with a side of a meaty mushroom jus. Amaranth Spaghetti, the red beetroot pasta was creamy and again spot on in terms of flavours. Desserts were great, light & not overly sweet. Loved the dark chocolate panna cotta & caramel custard. Cocktails are 12/10 I have had several before, didn’t drink on this particular night but they do one of the best cocktails in Goa. Service was a big plus, the servers were polite, courteous & the service was darn quick & efficient. Food arrived in good time, and for someone as impatient as me, I was very happy with service. HIGHLY RECOMMEDEDMore

Good food, great ambiance, staff is friendly, the host told us that they don't have chef, they believe in preparing your food herself, so that you can have the feel of food... Highly recommended if you wish to try authentic goan food.

I’ve been in India a month now and I just had my favourite meal yet at Comida Caseria. I had the Cogumelo Portugues (mushrooms sautéed in wine with Portuguese mash and croutons) and my partner had the Rum braised pork chops and wow it was...incredible. You could tell it was cooked with love and care! I could easily eat it again! Also the white wine sangria is a must try! The staff are so friendly and help with your choices of food. Live jazz was also playing whilst we ate which was beautiful. Definitely will be returning! Thank you!More

When in Goa, please do yourself a favour and treat yourself and your tummy at this restaurant! Everything we ordered, from appetizers to cocktails and main dish, was perfectly prepared and tasted like heaven. Not to forget, the service was extremely friendly, and warm -...we felt welcome, and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere with chilled music and fairy lights. It was our last evening in Goa, and we would gladly repeat it again. Also- ask the chef for recommendations. They will advise you according to your wishes and make your visit unforgettable.More

We've traveled for months all over Kerala, Karnataka and Goa. Comida Caseira is hands down the best restaurant we've come across. They have some really innovative Goan and Portuguese dishes on the menu as well as plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. We tried their...breakfast, snacks and mains and we were more than satisfied with everything we tasted. Do yourself a favor and try their homemade custard! You won't be disappointed. Beside the Master Chef -quality cooking their service is extraordinary. You can tell that they really care about their customers. We were treated like royalty even during the busy hours. If you're in North-Goa do not miss Comida Caseira. We know we will be back for sure!More

This is a quaint place, with a Spanish ambience. Food is freshly made by the owner and their family and basically it is run by the family members which gives a very personal touch to the place.
