Nice and quite cheap

Very nice, quite cheap and delicious. The service was fast and very kind. It is located in the front of Maldonado square. I would recommend pizza and pasta.

Worth the Trip

Sumo is a dependable standby that stays open during afternoon hours from 4-7 when most others are closed. Going back to Sumo in the future is a certainty. The waiters are efficient and service is done well even when it gets very busy. Everything I...have tried was good. The fruit drinks are excellent, almost a meal in themselves. The chicken Caesar salad is great, and the pizza is excellent. I stay away from the mushroom sauce items because the mushrooms are canned.More

Good Food and Service in a Historical Setting

Sumo is an excellent place where the food and service can be depended upon. I have been there many times for breakfast and lunch. It has a side area with a display of pictures and stories by and about Charles Darwin and his visit to...Maldonado. This display is not to be missed. One of the best meals at Sumo is to order the following meal and share with one or two people. Faina with Mozzetta and Olives plus the Chicken Ceasar. I have never been disappointed. I would avoid anything with mushrooms. They are canned.More
