Just qn amazing place. Is like being inside an uruguyan home. There are about 10 tables, almost all for couples. The menu is just excellent. An amazing mixing of a signature cuisine and home cooking. I enjoyed it very much.

This is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant. Food is all freshly prepared. Great fish croquettes and gnocchi. Baked Alaska for dessert. Most food prepared in wood fired oven. Home made lemonaid with mint and ginger. The staff could not have been more welcoming. A great evening...out with good food and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Fernanda and Fernando.More

First night in the area and we wanted somewhere we could walk too. Wow best meal of our South American adventure. With both owners working one in the kitchen and one in the front this has a lovely family feel. Food perfect with lots of...choice and everything home made. We never go back twice when we are on holiday but we will be returning. The owner speaks near perfect English and the other delightful waitress was great explaining the menu to us. Well worth a visit.More

I dont seem to get used to the stress that it means to go out for dinner in Punta del Este. Finding a spot to park the car, finding a table and then expecting to be well treated, are always things you cannot count on,...when you go out for dinner in Punta. However, when a friend recommended us Beija Flor, as a stressless dining option, we decided to give it a try. Our expectations were well covered. The place is small, with plenty of parking options, nothing crazy around and to our surprise, the waitress was the founder and owner of the place. She recommended us what to eat and all I can say is that this little restaurant will become one of our favorite options for us, when in Punta.More

A friend of ours who lives in Maldonado told us we had to try this place and glad we did. It's a small corner restaurant away from the plaza on a quiet street. The owners are Fernando and Fernanda and they couldn't have been nicer....I had the lomo which was cooked perfectly and my guests had the risotto with seafood and the salmon. They ate every last bite. And you have to try their homemade breads and sweet potato chips. Yum. We also had the chocolate brownie dessert which was good but I'd prefer it without the raspberry sauce and the delicious apple crumble. Make sure you try this place, it's worth every bite.More
