Chorizo was our favorite. Picanha was very good just a little overcooked. Service was fine. The location it’s kind of old but I think it’s part of the identity of this place.

La Balanza was pretty good. Unfortunately, the quality went down, and it is not a place to recommend anymore. The restaurant is dirty. Do not expect even a paper sheet over the dirty table. We asked melted provolone cheese. It was disgusting. For entree we...asked grilled meat. It was not good either. I couldn't eat it. Service is poor and they got argumentative when I complained about the food. In short: AVOID IT!More

We went other times to La Balanza and was good service and food. Normal good Uruguayan parrilla. And I rated good. But .... This time really not good. Bad. Parrilla x 2 was bad. Like cook and re cook. All the parrilla the same.

Visited with my wife on a week end. Had to wait about 15 min at lunch time on. Saturday. Good space between tables, reasonable quality beef, nice salads. Service is good although not quick. Environmental very friendly, mostly couples and families, a TV on. Price...reasonable. A place to go back to. Well doneMore

Choriozos, morcillas, chinchulines, chotos are good. So are picanha and vacío. Environment is just acceptable, service is effective but very basic. Price is moderate

this place is extremly simple, and extremly cheap. the atention, decoration, quality of food are all simple, and in some cases, a little bad. but it's extremly cheap and that's is good. It's a typical place that locals and uruguyians go. If course it's not...advisable for tourist in a short trip looking for the best.More
