Excellent food, excellent and friendly service. A must visit in Maldonado and way way better than many restaurants in Punta del Este (having lived & visited here for 20+ years).

Excellent service and food. Feels like in a Spanish tavern; loved the warm atmosphere of this family restaurant. All food and desserts really tasty. A definite comeback.
What a lovely place! The food is superb. The pasta with mushrooms; the fish with black butter and capers; everything was superb Price is very reasonable for the quality we get Will return!
Let me say the food was quite good and we all enjoyed our meals very much. What was surprising is that the menu was mostly sushi and we really didn’t expect that and had not gone out for sushi. The rest of the menu was...kind of limited but the simple grilled fish was nicely done, the mussels special was excellent and a seafood pasta as well. We did share a tuna roll to start which was very good. Like most Sushi in Uruguay everything comes with cream cheese, which is not sushi in my mind.... but this tuna roll was without so that was nice. Desserts were okay but since mostly we had fresh strawberries with whipped cream, what can I really say? Nice place and empty just before the season on a week night, so service was spectacular. Will definitely try again this summer and will update. I hope they do well!More
It was definitely one of the best finds in the area. My wife and I went to have a dinner outside Punta Del Este and we were pleasantly surprised. Not only ambience wad phenomenal but also FOOD was delicious! N.B. I am as objective as...I can get but it is not easy to fail a truly great place to have a dinner out. 5 Stars from me :)More
What a splendid restaurant. I had the pasta of the day with mushroom sauce. It was superb! The chef trained in Uruguay and worked in Ibiza and Madrid. Service was excellent! We had an Argentinian Malbec (Nieto) which was excellent. The price was really low...compared to the fabulous dinner we had. Shall return!More
We ve been tonight and after 2 weeks of wandering through Uruguay this restaurant is definitely no 1. Absolutely all the dishes we ve tried were perfect: fondue of camarones( shrimps), the Provencale mussels, the beef steak my husband had ( ojo) - he said...it s the best one he had and he really ate beef daily. Then the fish of the day with Roquefort and gnocchi... amazing. The maracuja ice cream is also great. I am not sure why this restaurant isn t 5 stars here, but it should be. We will for sure go to eat here again!More
super good.... the best salmon tartar in town.... good service and cute ambiance! the only down side is that they do not open for lunch! worth the visit!
Great quality Spanish style food at low prices! Ask Martin (chef & owner) for fish and chips or try his amazing chivito!
I have been to this lovely restaurant so many time since it opened! We love going there with friends, or taking the kids, since the food is outstanding, the ingredients extremely fresh (yesterday we had brotola, the local and delicious fish) the service wonderfully friendly...and the atomosphere pleasant and relaxed. The builing is an old house, beautifully restored, in front of lovely Plaza del Vigia, with its tower that can be seen from the patio. It really is fine dining for a mid-range price.More
