Lunch for two, the home made steak and onion suet pudding was the best I'd ever eaten, crisp roast potatoes, steaming hot fresh vegetables, bread and butter pudding to follow, polite attentive service, this place should have a Michelin star it really is that good.

What a lovely and quirky place to eat or have coffee. Tried this by chance on the way home from a meeting and so pleased I did. Went for the home made soup and it was the best soup I've ever tasted. Really lovely place and definitely worth a visit. I would definitely love to return.

The food was wonderful and the service was very good. We will definitely be going again. My husband had the steak and kidney pie followed by orange and apricot bread and butter pudding with grand marnier and I had the roast ribeye beef.

We had our staff Christmas Lunch here and everyone enjoyed the food and relaxed atmosphere. All three courses were varied and delicious and service was efficient. The chef always sources with local meats and veg with the result being fresh and tasty as well as attractively presented. The slow cooked pork was particularly delicious with perfect crackling and roasties. The... More
