A great stop with excellent food. After a day in Denali, we treated ourselves to a nice dinner. A bit out of the way, but worth it.

Full disclosure ... I was never deemed worthy enough to eat here. It is a long drive from town to find out that it is closed on Monday. We checked their website on our phone and it doesn't have the days or times listed. We...More

We were very disappointed with our experience, after hearing such rave reviews online. The food was "fancy" compared to other options in the area, but all plates were very salty and overall looked better than they tasted. We were not impressed. Our waitress was very...More

A gourmet treat amidst the pizza & burger standard Denali fare. Ate at 229 after recommendation from Donna @ Tonglen Lake Lodge. Our group of four loved the Caesar & heirloom tomato salads, the crab cakes, salmon, lamb & steak entrees. Nice wine & beer...More

If you are a foodie, this is the restaurant for you. All locally grown and sourced and delicious to boot. I can't recommend this restaurant enough if you are in Denali. I had the lamb, which was perfectly prepared. My kids had king crab wrapped...More

We ate at the 220 Parks Restaurant on our last night in the Denali area and what a treat it was! Between the 4 of us dining there, all the meals were delicious, creative and totally satisfying. The service was also great. Make sure you...More

Fine dining on the edge of the Parks Highway! Good music in the winter months, too. Everything in our meal was great; desserts made a particularly big hit with our party.

We almost didn't go since we arrived on holland land tour and taxi service was expensive. We are glad we did. Food was creative and presentation was great. Nice log cabin for an Alaska feel. One thing to note, no children allowed something to do...More

This is the only place that requires reservations. The menu is finite, the food and the service are great but it is NOT "the best restaurant in Alaska"! Plenty of better ones in Anchorage.

Our pilot (Kantishna Air Taxi) recommended this restaurant. It is a few miles from the entrance to Denali NP. Best food we ate in Alaska, hands down. Get a reservation as it is not a well kept secret. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. We...More

Well it's not really towns up there... Denali Cabins is super close, but i didn't stay there. We stayed at the Denali Grand Lodge which is probably a 15 min drive to 229. Princess Lodge and Chateau are also same distance. More
