We stumbled across this place when visiting Red Beach and I am so glad we did! The owner came out and greeted us personally and ushered us to a beautiful blue and white chequered table, and served us coffee and mezze, with her famous and delicious dessert to finish! She even had freshly baked bread that we had with the... More

Stopped for lunch on a windy day having travelled by ARV from Fira and was not disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed the tomato balls and fried squid. Was then treated to yoghurt and grape marmalade - simply delicious. If visiting Red Beach make sure you stop at Taverna Glaros.

If you are in Santorini and plan to visit Akrotiri excavations or red Beach (kokino paralia), pay a visit to this traditional tavern. The owner is a really nice lady running this taverna for last 30 years and serving simple, proper Greek home food. And the food is GREAT! At the end we got Greek yoghurt and glykes! This desert... This is the best place on whole Santorini! The super friendly chef and owner served us some very very delicious fish, octopus and mussels. Super fresh (fish is caught by her son) and cooked with a lot of love!! You can taste it! She runs the Restaurant for 30 years and you can taste her cooking experience. Definitely not that... More

This restaurant is a lovely place to enjoy a lunch after you visit the red beach and swim in the sea. The son of the owner is friendly and quite shy though to politely greet everyone and smiles brightly. I had a memorable encounter because of their free dessert on which they had some home-made syrup, and that syrup made... More
