Worth to visit!

One of the best taverns visited in the Island. Located in a village (Pentakomo) near Limassol and has two stages back yard in order to enjoy tasty Cyprus "meze". Service is really very good as both waiters served our food were smiling and talking to all visitors explaining the dishes they serve. Meze is very good and combine many kinds of food, not only meat as most of the taverns are serving. We tasted cheese pastry with honey, eggplant balls and some other dishes that you will taste them in Cyprus tavern. We end our dinner with traditional "pourekki", watermelon and Cyprus coffee. For sure we will visit again the tavern.

The place is not what you call a traditional tavern (interior wise). Nice meze but with a slight twist from the traditional meze you usually find at a Cypriot tavern. Quantity-wise not plenty but enough. A variety of starters but the meat plates are not that many. I would definitely recommend if you like to try something other than the striclty traditional 'clean' cypriot tastes. Quality of food is high and the meat served is well cooked. Service was excellent and staff very friendly and polite

Traditional food for traditional low prices.

Great restaurant with traditional Cyprus food. We had great starters like mushrooms with cheese, fresh French frites, musrooms with aubergine, Real Kleftiko, traditional made with potatoes and enormous salade. Although it wasverzachter busy, good service.When you come try to make a reservation. Place worth visiting. No tourist food but genuine Cyprus traditional kitchen. Most of the customers are locals who care for this kitchen

Excellent village taverna

We stayed in the village for 5 nights and ate here every night! The food is all very well cooked, nothing is too much trouble for Costas and his team and the prices are reasonable. We enjoyed Cypriot food such as sheftalia, lamb chops, kleftico ( slow-roast lamb with potatoes), souvlaki and various dips and salad. We had a 'small meze' one evening which was delicious-but still too much food ! Many of the customers are locals who, when they cannot eat all of their food are brought polystyrene boxes to take it home-very sensible! There is a large list of Cypriot wines. We have eaten here many times since it opened a few years ago and will return in April.

Delightful Meze for the family!

We ventured out with our small hire car and stumbled upon this place from the reviews - it doesn’t look like much but once inside you will not be disappointed with the food! Meze for 2 adults comfortably fed all 4 of us (2 adults 2 children). With drinks, including wine etc the bill came to circa 70 euro all in! Unbeatable value with the most perfect local cuisine, even better when it’s brought out and each course is explained and a surprise. (The food never stops so be prepared to eat, lots!) Great place, great service, amazing food!

Nice meat meze at a very nice place

Very nice place with very nice meze! Everything was fresh and of good quality! Delicious traditional sausage and sieftalia, very nice traditional lamb kleftiko with potatoes, good quality of village lountza also! A lot of meat in their meze, without "cheap" food as pasta or pourgouri etc. Very nice if you like meat! I personally would prefer more "cooked" dishes such as makaronia tou fournou, koupepia, keftedes etc that they didn't have. Also, most plates lacked salt.... Very good prices (19.50 per person and a bottle of wine from 16 euros and more). Service wasn't the best, they were always in a hurry and i waited 10 minutes for a glass but ok...

Lovely atmosphere in the courtyard

The courtyard atmosphere is cosy and quiet. Its reminiscent of a Greek island. The food is tasty, we tried the meze. The quality was quite good, but we found the quantity somewhat limited in relation to other places. The variety is also good. Its great for a nice village visit

Return to Dragon's Nest

We ate here every night while in Pentakomo. The food is excellent, well-cooked and great service. We enjoyed lamb chops, souvlaki, sheftalia and kleftico along with various dips, delicious local sausages, grilled halloumi and choriatiki salad. They have a good selection of wines. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Most of the diners were locals and it may be best to reserve a table at weekends.

Good place to eat traditional Cyprus food

One of the best traditional Cyprus tavernas to eat good Cyprus meze at reasonable prices. Visited this restaurant twice so far and by coincidence both time on Easter Sunday. Despite being full we were not disappointed.

This is a nice well decorate restaurant. The service is very good and welcoming. A clean and cozy place. Food is generally ok. Very nice souvlaki, pork and chicken, small portion of ofton, not very tasty, halloumi and luntza of average quality, pork chops heavily wine marinated. Nothing cooked served, like koupepia or tavas. French fried potatoes similar to fast food quality. Based on my experience in Cyprus meze restaurants, i feel 3 stars is fair.

Superb

Visited the place with another couple and our kids. The setting was nice. The food was well cooked (not precooked) and the food flow was ideal.No gaps and no rush. The quality was amazing. The beers were cold. As a strict judge I will have to say it is in my top list. I.hope they will remain! Make sure you visit the place it is worth the visit!!

Amazing traditional food and people

We went to try traditional mezze there and it was amazing experience. Top rating for food, atmosfer and service. Wouldn't change a thing. Restaurant is a bit remote so you will need to drive there but it's so worth it if you want to experience the real Cyprus. Plenty of locals dinning there which is the best indication its the place to go to. Loved all of it.

If you want the taste of Cyprus and you like Meat. This is the place to GO. Good cooking, great service and not expensieve at all. We were treated bij the host as if we were old friends. I will recommend this place to allwho like good food.
