Amazing amazing amazing!! Highly recommend this place. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Far from crowds and the 'smelly' 'ugly' Thailand. You basically leave on the beach. We didn't even used shoes.
Food in the restaurant was delicious, a bit pricy for dinner but they use quality ingredients. We loved their staff, so attentive, friendly and welcoming. We asked for few favours as we traveled with a small child and it was never a problem (e.g warming up the bottle or getting an extra croissant). I felt truly like at home. The room was modern, warm and spacious. Pool is nicely cleaned and great size.
I would highly recommend this place, all our family and friends want to travel there.
I wish the taxi in area was a bit cheaper as its hard to communicate around Panwa beach. Drinks should be a bit cheaper, or some deals provided.
At the time of our stay they had an issue with a pool, so we couldn't use if until 11-12 almost every day. It was a bit annoying as we had to put our child to bed, but I guess it was our bad luck 🤷♀️

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for 3 nights. This was the last part of our 2.5 week trip to Thailand and we had an amazing and relaxing time!
The resort is located in the South of Phuket away from the really touristy areas. It offers a beautiful beach with warm water, a refreshing pool, and sun loungers that can be moved into the shade. The rooms themselves were spacious and modern with great A/C for the hot nights. As a really appreciated touch, the staff put a "Happy Honeymoon" sign on our bed when we arrived.
There is a restaurant on the premises that serves very tasty food, but there is also an area that is about a 15-minute walk away that has some restaurants and a 7/11, so you are not confined just to the resort to eat. Breakfast was included during our stay, which was delicious!
The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and speak English really well. They come by to check on you and inform you of activities and food options, but they also will allow you to relax on your own.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend The Cove for anyone travelling to Phuket who wants to avoid the busier West coast. We would stay here again if we come back to Phuket in the future! Thanks for an amazing time! :)

Magnificent setting right on the beach.
Service was a little slow due to the fact that restaurant was full but we were informed of this when we arrived. Food was absolutely fantastic, beautifully
Served and the staff were extremely good and very polite. I would definitely visit again if I’m ever back in cape panwa

Most items on the menu were unavailable. Still persisted and ordered 2 x burgers and 1 x chicken skewers. Got burgers, but even after asking for skewers after waiting for 10 minutes, it still took another 20 minutes before the last meal came out and every one else had finished. The staff insisted that no discount or apology was due as they were short staffed and had a new crew. I can't believe they asked to be paid a service charge. What service? DON'T GO THERE!

We have visited this place before the pandemic and absolutely loved it: situated at the beach, it has stunning views over Ao Yon bay and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, now that's the only good thing that still persists.
Biggest disappointment is an awful service that almost does not exist (while you are silently charged 10% of service charge by default and also VAT is added - this is simply cheating, as the customers should know in advance - I have not seen such thing anywhere in Thailand, so it's definitely not a common practice one would expect).
About the service: noone bothers cleaning your table, you sit with all dishes till the end, even if the table is too small to fit all your meals. Btw the number of staff seems sufficient, they just do not do this. Used to having clean fork and knife for every dish? Forget about it here in this place. Main courses come prior to salads and apetizers... And they definitely have some problems with napkins: I asked several times and they have never been brought. They should be provided by default, even if not cotton (like in good restaurants) but just paper ones. But not here.
Menu is very short (winter 2023), all apetizers are disappointment. Main cources were ok. Just ok.
I am always fine to visit pricey places, where you get delicious meals and excellent service and have clear understanding what you pay for. This is definitely not one of them anymore. You only get the view and sincere disappointment with anything else. Ah, and a smelly toilet from where you just want to run away as fast as you can. Ewww

The location is very nice - beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere. But nothing more… the menu is not exiting.. prices are too high for the that quality..
We’ve been here for four of five times since we lived in the hotel nearby, and every time it was dirty tables, long waiting and not perfect food.. at the same time the waiter Tui with very bad English tried to explain something in a very strange way… seems she working here 24/7 and very tired..
The strangest thing after inadequate prices (I’m not against high price but for a good quality and service) was very long waiting for fish .. we ordered grilled fish and they cooked it for 50 minutes, and bring us not grilled but baked fish… 🤦♂️
So.. I do not recommended to eat here - only drinks and pizza..

We absolutely love The Cove. The food is incredible, the cocktails are just delicious, our waitress Farida was charming, lovely and made some excellent recommendations. We went once with friends and it was so good we went back for a meal just me and the wife. Try all the local thai flavoured cocktails, all the fresh seafood is amazing. Go back as much as you can!

My husband and I both had iced Thai tea and eggs Benedict for breakfast. Our bill came to $970. Baht. The tea came in an 8 oz glass filled with ice which was definitely not worth the 170 baht per drink. We have paid a lot less then that for twice that size all around the cape panwa area. The eggs Benedict had no taste and talk about shrink flation. The so called English muffin was hard and very difficult to cut and instead of Canadian bacon they served it with regular bacon, a couple leafs of greens and 1 grape tomatoe cut in half. The meal was definitely not worth the price we paid. Will not be going back there.

We have celebrated our beach wedding in July 2023. The location is so beautiful and idealistic and a fantastic spot for an intimate wedding 💕💝
Food was outstanding - we chose Thai menu and all the dishes ward delicious. Special thanks to the personnel, they were very friendly, service minded and made sure that we get a great experience on our wedding day in an authentic way. The facilities are great and everything was very convenient and comfortable for us - we also got a room, where we could get ready and change clothes.

We were staying at a hotel near this place, so we stopped in for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I would like to note the convenient location - next to our bungalow, beautiful view, overall pleasant atmosphere. There was quite tasty pizza, papaya salad and mango granola.
However, not everything was as perfect as we expected for a very high bill:
1) “grilled” fish - it turned out not to be grilled, but baked in foil, although we specified whether it was grilled or not. The fish was very dry, and it also took 45 minutes to cook (it’s good that this is written on the menu).
2) English breakfast - good sausages (unlike many other places in Thailand, but some sour, dried out bread/toast, the overall feeling of this breakfast is not very good (it’s definitely not worth 390 baht.
3) service leaves much to be desired:
- no napkins
- they forget to bring lemon/lime for water, although they ordered it
- tables are dirty
- there is bird feces on the chairs
- the waiter girl is very tired (she worked all 3 days in the morning, afternoon and evening)
- the staff’s English is not very clear

Lovely location and very helpful friendly staff. Food is very good although It is very european. Only neg reflection is that at the end of a meal you will be charged an additional 17% relating to conditional VAT and service charge

Beautiful setting, yummy food, wonderful happy friendly staff. I had a whole sea bass cooked on wood fire in banana leaves, flavours were amazing! kids had stone baked oven pizza which was perfectly cooked! Staff especially Tui we’re so lovely, so friendly and helpful

It's the first place we have visited around the bay that adds vat and service charges..to the price shown on the menu.
So what was 85 bhats each for 2 beer ends up as 209 bhats and not 170..we like to be able to "clearly" see what the price is and then decide on how good the service (which was very slow in coming ) before we decide how much to tip. So instead of going back wet went some where that doesn't have hidden charges .

Thank you for your review. We do appreciate that you do feel our restaurant is beautiful indeed, but regret about sentiment towards the "hidden charges". One may argue that our charges are actually visible, as when it is not shown, it is actually already included (exactly those percentages), and thus more hidden.
However, we will reconsider and discuss this internally. Prior, having the VAT and Service Charge not included in the price was common practice in resorts, not so much in restaurants possibly. As we are receiving many outside guests, it might be time to change, and therefore we truly appreciate your feedback.

Avoid at all costs!
After a month in Thailand I can tell this is the worst place for eating or drinking. I’ve paid 500 baht for 2 mango smoothies to go and we could only taste ice cubes!breakfast was absolutely average but freaking expensive for what we got! And my napkin was full of holes in the fabric! Besides the loooooooooong wait ! In here you just pay for the location! But they don’t know we’ve travelled in many amazing place and this “cove” is faaaar away from being good! Avoid!

This restaurant is right on the beach…feet in the sand time….a beautiful setting for a relaxed dinner. We had soft shell crab burgers, Australian beef burger and squid as a starter. All were delicious.
The thing that topped everything though, was the wonderful staff. They were all so happy and helpful, it was a pleasure to be with them all. And when our booked taxi didn’t turn up, several of them came to check that we were OK. Farida (I hope that's right) went the extra mile and phoned for a taxi for us, then spoke to him and checked the price before we left. Thanks to everybody for a lovely evening.
