Great food , good vibes . We visited the restaurant on regular basis.
However reservation staff is extremely rude to us when making reservation over the phone.
This one mistake completely ruined our perspective over the restaurant and their management.
Service was brilliant...staff were efficient and busy, yet kind, patient and attentive. Meals were great. Dessert tasting plate is a must try! Small portions, but the quality is there. Really love supporting small, intimate restaurants like this, where the owner and staff really care about...their customers. Thanks for a great date night!More
This restaurant seems to be the favourite of French food lovers. Honestly I don’t understand why! It wasn’t bad but it is old fashioned food that some people may like but I was not impressed by the quality. I am currently staying at the Ritz...Carlton and their steakhouse is much better for about the same price! Wine conservation is also a problem as the Oyster Bay pinot noir was not as good as it should have been (I know this wine pretty well). Even dessert was average.
The bill was 5450baht and on top of it they charged 3% if you pay by credit card.
I won’t come back.More
Of all the excellent dining establishments in Bophut this is our favorite. Very small and quaint, the staff quickly makes you feel welcomed and like part of the family. The food is cooked to perfection. The chef sent out several amouse bouche that were fantastic....We enjoyed a nice wine selection. The chef then personally thanked every customer as they departed. Cafe Francois is not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.More
Sensational French cuisine in Ko Samui. Delicious food and friendly conversations with all the staff and Chez Francois himself. Menu was very well explained, service was very attentive. and also acknowledging dietary preferences. Highlights were the foie gras and the rib eye steak. The restaurant...is quite small - in a cozy way - so bookings highly advised.More
Enjoyed the dinner here some time in late November. Service was very attentive and friendly, the food was tasty and the ambiance was nicely decorated - oozing a homely feel. We started the appetizer plate with some prawns, foie gras and escargot, and also enjoyed...their hor d'oeuvres on the house which was the mushroom soup. The mains were also enjoyable; we had the beef fillet, striploin and monk fish. Ended the meal with nice mixed plate of dessert and limoncello. Overall, a cozy restaurant and a lovely French dinner in Koh Samui.More

The Phenomenal. Whenever you will go to Chez Francois it makes you feel at home. Chef cooks each and every dishes with full of attention and with passion. Keep doing the same and I would like to visit every-time whenever I visit Samui. Excellent food...& service. The island is blessed with your delicacy and let it continue many more years.More
