Professional service, nice, stylish restaurant, but definitively too extensive: 28 💶 for a simple dish of risotto with fish. It doesn't worth: it is outskirts of Vercelli, not San Marco square in Venice.

This was our first Michelin Star experience, and wow - it was really good! These guys are artists with their food. The great thing was that we didn't leave hungry (we understand that some of these places are more about art than meals), the food was fantastic, and not overpriced. We didn't do one of the fixed menus because we... More

Last night we enjoy a degustation of four very interesting risottos - carnaroli rice with tomato and basil; rabbit, foie gras and Piedmontese cheese sauce; 27 month tailor cut carnaroli with Moretti Gran Cru beer and arabica (coffee) reduction; and rice carbonara. Each was very nice and an interesting combination of flavours. Together the four were too rich for my... More

This was simply the most mind-blowing risotto meal we have ever had, starting with attentive service to explain and recommend regional/unique options. We expected a simple risotto meal and emerged, marvelled, at the complexity of the dishes that we received. 1) cod-filled amuse-bouche 2) my husband tried the raw fish risotto, so delicately put together, and I had the beer... For dinner we had prebooked a Michelin One Star Restaurant Cinzia renown for its risotto creations and here's how it went. The GOOD : we started with a complimentary prosecco each and an amuse bouche of creamed cod with potato soup which was lovely. We then had a wonderful risotto with lobster bisque topped with a succulent lobster tail. Then... More

Open for lunch from 12:30p-3:00p and again for dinner from 8:00p-12:00a, this restaurant makes me wish I had set aside more time, and money, to stay in Vercelli longer. Coming from Genoa, with an early flight the next day, we stopped at this hotel to make the trip to the airport a little more tolerable. We couldn't have made a... More

We were on our way from Milan to Liguria area and decided to stop in Vercelli for this place only since we read great review here on TA. Their website said its open until 15:00. We arrived around 14:00 and were disappointed that the place was already close. We asked the staff if there is anything else open in the... More

The food was incredible, the wines were amazing and the service(speaking English) was exceptional. Our host explained in detail what we were eating and where the paired wine was from and its characteristics. One of the most delightful and exquisite dinning experiences I have ever had.

We had an excellent late dinner at this hidden gem. The regional menu - "terriorio" - with wine pairing was a natural choice for both of us. Excellent, friendly service, good wines and well presented tasty dishes. We left the restaurant around midnight with a good feeling. This restaurant is definitely worth stopping for.

Description
The Costardi brothers are putting their money on fine cuisine inside the Hotel Cinzia, a family-run business for four generations. After taking over the family inheritance, they are building up a proposal involving catering that is innovative but, at the same time, firmly rooted in the local surroundings. Christian and Manuel grew up in an area famous for its rice fields and decided to bet on a creative style of cuisine where risotto is the prominent player, included in an interesting menu with over twenty variations all based on local seasonal raw materials with a strong emphasis on lightness and attention to wellness. A playful, contemporary and balanced style, which always remains in touch with their roots and finds perfect synergy between the Costardi brothers: Christian looks after the savoury dishes, while Manuel takes charge of the sweeter side, with continuous cross-contaminations, in search of a culinary expression that is free from rigid patterns. The dining area service area is managed with finesse and masterly skill by Elisa Bellavia, one of the best sommeliers in Italy, who guides their guests in the discovery of the finest wines.
