Simple, very good food. Great for large groups ( not good for vegetarians). Inexpensive, god house wine

Almost entirely full (up to 300 covers) of local Portuguese families. Food is good 'honest ' Portuguese cuisine with no frills.Wine is exceptional value and interesting choices. There are menus in English and at least one of the waiters will help you out in English...More
We (6) ate here during lunch time, with appetisers, wine, main dish, dessert and coffee we end up paying 17,5 euros per person. The food was ok, but I guess for what we paid the portions could be bigger.
Our go to place for dinner. The food was to die for, the house wine excellent and service was simply exceptional. Can't wait to get back!
The flank steak (Brazilian style grilled steak) was one of the best meals I had in Portugal. Super basic, but very good quality food. Just what I wanted.
very inexpensive small town restaurant with three large rooms, and a long menu (also in English) with typical Portuguese fare in single and double portions. Nice house wine that was delicious and so cheap, about 7 euros for a carafe.
Friendly, helpful service, delicious typical Portuguese food plus good grills and fresh fish all within a short walk of the hotel.
