Lovely view and the food is tasty but average.

The ambience and view compensates for the average food they serve. The sandwiches were nice but the burger was average. They ran out of bakery products and was fortunate to have 1 last banana muffin but alas, the same was over heated and burnt, albeit tasty.

Good views and ambience

The cafe is located quiet near to kasar devi temple. Ambience and interior is nice.. they have inside sitting as well as outside. From outside you can have nice views of the Himalayas. Food is nice and good

Beautiful location and great food

Great food. We ordered Mix vegetables, roti and coffee. Everything was super yummy. The view from the deck was amazing. We loved playing with a very cute friendly cat who gave us company at lunch.

Worst dinein experience in almora

Worst service experience in so hyped resturant. Staff wont take your order unless you call out for them. They wont even serve water and other utensils unless you asked for it. Food preparation takes ages. In my latest experience it was just 3 tables booked but still staff took hours to serve food. Unprofessional staff. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely horrible! 0/10. Would not recommend it at all

The staff here is incredibly rude. The menu options were limited, and most of the things were unavailable. It's quite understandable that during the off-season, most things are not prepared beforehand, but the waiter, after taking our order, and making us wait for 15 minutes told us that our order was going to take another hour at least! That was absurd, to say the least. They chose to serve and dote on the table beside us since there were more members there and knew that it was more profitable to serve them than it was to serve us. Horrible service. The food is average at best. 0/10. Would not recommend it at all. Save yourself the time and energy, and forgo this place.

Hello Bhavika! The past months have been offseason, and as a result, there may be limited availability of certain items. We want to assure you that this information is clearly mentioned on our menu, where we also mention that orders may take around 30-40 minutes to fulfill. Our staff is incredibly important to us, and we truly believe that none of them would ever intentionally be rude. However, apologies if you felt offended in any way.

Mediocre experience

Good location and views, average setup, and poor food. Our Italian turned out to be more like a spaghetti khada masala (instead of Arrabiata) and penne mushrom curry (instead of a creamy mushroom sauce). Fairly expensive for the quality of food and facilities. Not recommended.

No Hospitality & No Courtsey

I visited the restaurant with family and my nonagenarian aged uncle. First of all they didn't show the Courtsey to him by helping him to movee in. Then nobody came to ask for water or orders. When we asked the staff they simply showed a cold shoulder that this place usually have excess rush with 2 servers only. But 80% of the tables were empty. I don't how they are running a hospitality industry. When we opted to go out without having food nobody from the staff, who were standing there, chose to ask us the reason for going out in such. Rather the moved inside. For your info all 5 of us are seniors. Very disappointing. Regards

Terrible experience

Apart from view from this restaurant nothing is worth mentioning. We ordered pasta, sandwiches, pizza, Manchurian and Oreo shake. Nothing of these is worth mentioning rather we found pasta to be tasteless and sandwiches were burned. After being informed about this their manager told us that food is cooked up like this only here and they can do nothing to change it. They did however removed these two items from our bill but in the end but it left us with a very bitter experience.

Pathetic Food

Worst food expericence, no veggies in patsa, burger was fried in uncooked musturd oil. So much of dust non tables and plates. No fresh glass, Overly price of every dishes. WOOOOOORRRRRRRSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTT. Don't Go here !

Worst Carrot Cake ever

Tried the carrot cake, and it was the worst I ever had. Attatching photo as well for reference. It looked like gajar ka halwa it was undercooked and not baked properly. The coffee I had was mediocre. Also ordered hummus pita platter with sautéed mushroom, which was alright. Overall it was just a mediocre cafe at best. Don't try their baked products, a personal suggestion.

Rude attitude & Big No for family! Pathetic owner

I will definitely not recommend this place for any travellers especially from Delhi/NCR. The place is owned by clowns who know nothing about hospitality. Everyone from manager to waiter, full of arrogance and have no etiquette of basic hospitality. Managers are laughing standing at the corner and talking bad about Delhi people. If such things are coming from Mohan than you can easily understand how the culture of such cafe is! Cafés are know for the hospitality and how welcoming it is.. & this has nothing about it.. Big NO when you visit Binsar.. there are many good cafes nearby which can be explored..

Mohan's Cafe (owner) 3 weeks ago Amandeep ji, you had called for dinner yesterday and I had clearly told you that we will close the restaurant at 6.30 and you arrived at 6.55 and started giving us hospitality lessons with great displeasure that you people cannot do this in hospitality. You cannot do this even though there is a closed board at the main gate and still come inside and argue with all the staff. I request you that whenever you travel anywhere, respect the customs, culture and local people of that place, only then the local people will welcome you. I am sorry if you feel bad about what we said. Thank you.

Horrible food

We visited this place today and we ordered food. The team dont know how to handle guest.We ordered Pizza and found that it had had a hair strand. We ordered a new one that also had hair. I fail to understand what makes them say they are so good. Horrible food, unhygienic condition. I won't recemond anyone for it . Better cafe are there to explore.dont go to Mohan cafe guys.

Quaint Setup, Rustic Place, Good Coffee

I visited the place during lunch time. I enjoyed walking through their tunnel like entrance and then sitting in one corner while enjoying the view. The place has an overall quaint and rustic feel to it. The coffee that I ordered was nice and hot. Perfect to relax with. The pizza was better than expected. Quite rich and cheesy. Enjoyed every bite of it. The chips were oily and soggy. Maybe they got delayed due to the crowd at lunch time. Overall, a perfect place to spend a nice afternoon. Do enjoy their coffee. Best in the town !

Mohans Cafe is a beautiful place to stay .The staff is very cooperative and helpful.Best part is THE FOOD.awesome is the word I would use. Must visit this Cafe if u happen to be in Binsar

Great place to eat .Has choices of both italian and indian food. Tried the pink pasta it was great in taste. Ambience is very beautiful and has a great view . A definitely place to visit ifnyounare at Binsar .
