After walking for over 30 minutes when we landed up at the hotel at 12PM the staff after keeping us waiting for another 30 minutes told us there's no von-veg available!
This is a great place for lunch. We tried their local delicacies and they were incredible. Grab a seat with a mountain view and it will not leave you disappointed. The food is freshly and served with utmost love.
What a wonderful restaurant!! Perched at the side of the hill at Upper Pelling, one has the choice to either sit indoors or at the balcony which can easily accommodate 20-30 pax. We chose the balcony due to its breathtaking view of the sprawling mountain...and valley. The sight itself was quite refreshing. The food was also very good. The drinks are cheap too, a peg of Rum costs no more than 50 bucks, but we loved the local beers on offer. Especially Hit and Denzong - such smoothly refreshing drinks. The staff are also very welcoming and provides a warm experience. If you are at Peling, this is a must visit!!More
We were sent by locals. The food was not that good. The view and location was nice. We didn't try other restaurants so I can't say if it's better or worse. Cheers.
We choose the serif styled local restaurant for its great location as it is instantly open to the mountain view. The service by the staff was also very polite, and the food served was pretty good.
This is a famous restaurant though in Pelling but yes for Non-Vegetarian food .. ambience of the restaurant is nice..
Melting point restaurant in Pelling has outdoor seating. However, after sunset, there is absolutely no view. It can get quite cold while sitting outside. The restaurant offers local speciality dishes like Thukpa, however, the dishes were a little bland and become cold very quickly. Best...to visit for lunch to enjoy the views and food.More
We went there a couple of times for dinner. The food was decent. The place was completely empty. The north indian food was good.
Nice place eto enjoy food along with drinks. D seating facility is in balcony with Mt. Kanchenjunga view
This was my second visit to this place, earlier I had visited in 2014. This time I was disappointed to find out that the restaurant has become shabby and the service and quality has taken a back seat. It may be due to the off...season and cold, it was an average experience.More
The service was extremely good being quick and courteous. We tried a range of food and drink and all was of a good standard. The views over the valley towards the mountains are fantastic. On the whole a very good experience. We were travelling with...Windhorse.More
we had gone to this place to have some momos and noodles.. the noodles was average and the momos were also average..
Good quality of food items are available. The restaurant looks beautiful and amazing place. Go and visit the place.
I am not sure whether the experience that we had was something more of an exception. We came to the restaurant seeing its tripadvisor rating of 4. The restaurant has an outdoor sitting area and an indoor section. We went around 2 in the afternoon...and wanted to try the Chinese and were seated in the indoors because it was pretty cold and windy. Ordered Thukpa, Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian. The food arrived after an epic 30 mins by which time it was cold. And they didnt bring the Chicken Manchurian. Reason? The waiter had forgotten to take the order. Quality of food is ordinary. Better try out Big Bowl and Kabur - quality is better.More
