Definitely a place locals eat. All fried fish, but not battered. It was incredibly good. May not sound like much, but it's definitely worth a stop if you're down on that part of the island.

The view is fantastic and the shrimp was some of the best I have ever had! We liked also that this area is far less congested than the other side of the island!

Can never go wrong here. Come here every visit. Since last visit they have made some upgrades. The entrance is covered with tile flooring vs the cement and sand. Like hat you step up to order and it’s simple. Fresh catch of the day. Shrimps....More

As I understand it, this used to be a local hangout, but now many tourists have discovered the secret. I honestly didn’t really see what the fuss was all about. The food was just ok, in my opinion. The pricing was quite good for the...More

Fresh fish, fresh shrimp; it doesn’t get any better then this. The fish and shrimp go by weight and it’s fried instantly for you. While you sit at the terrace by or above the sea you can enjoy a nice drink, beer or coconut ice...More

This place is a must to try when in Aruba. Fresh seafood - whatever they have as catch of the day. You stand in line (very popular), order what you want and how much you want. Everything is deep-fried, but sitting down on the water...More

We loved everything about this place. It’s pretty informal and kind of “on” the sea. Aruba is not a very cheap country/island so this was very affordable compared to most of the other restaurants we went to. The service was the best and we ate...More

This looks like a local place (although we were told it used to be but now mostly tourists), and probably best if you have a car; would be easy to miss, location is a little off the beaten path for non-locals. You order food at...More

Description
Zeerovers is a local bar and restaurant situated on the waterfront in the fishermen's town of Savaneta. Here we serve fresh fried fish and shrimps with side orders of fried plantain, french fries, pan bati(local version of cornbread), onions in vinegar and tartarsauce. Everything is served to you in a basket as you sit on the dock overlooking the water as fishermen bring in their catch which in fact could have been your meal if you came a few hours later. That said, this is not a place for fancy dining but rather a place where you are welcomed to kick back, relax and get your hands dirty.
