They accept cash only. Two people could easily eat for $30 or less. Me and my husband got the red snapper filets, fries for one, shrimp for 1 and cornbread for 1. It was a lot of food! It was all deep fried, seasoned and...More

This is local unpretentious simple place, that is immensely popular with both locals and visitors. It is very limited menu, 2 types of fish, and shrimp. It is very fresh, simply prepared, and delicious. So much better than Aruba "sushi" place. Expect longer wait at...More

We liked this place so much we went back the next day, our teenage boys who love to eat were hooked! The fish and shrimp were great. No troubles with flies the first time we went, I'm assuming it was a breezy day, second time...More

The view you get a Zeerovers was great if the flies don’t drive you crazy. The food was fresh and very good. I would just recommend carry out due to all of the flies.

This is a great place to eat with your hands and drink cold beer. There is not much to this place tables chairs and fish. You receive your food in baskets and just dig in. There is a community sink to wash your hands after...More

So this place is a local establishment. You stand in a line, get to the front and your options are catch of the day, shrimp, fries, plantains, onions and vintages and buckets of beer. They fry it and bring it to your table and you...More

Directions below are right. Look for all the cars, and a Pirate Flag. They are just up the road from Flying Fishbone, and a landmark for the road to turn down is a Super Foods. Explore! Buy a t shirt!

Zeerovers is a local bar and restaurant situated on the waterfront in the fishermen's town of Savaneta. Here we serve fresh fried fish and shrimps with side orders of fried plantain, french fries, pan bati(local version of cornbread), onions in vinegar and tartarsauce. Everything is served to you in a basket as you sit on the dock overlooking the water as fishermen bring in their catch which in fact could have been your meal if you came a few hours later. That said, this is not a place for fancy dining but rather a place where you are welcomed to kick back, relax and get your hands dirty.
