Taj is it’s own competition! Every Taj we’ve stayed at beats the previous one in hospitality, scrumptious food and well mannered staff. Always ready to help. They were following strict covid precautions. The buffet was being served by gloved waiters, the dining was outdoors and...rooms were sanitised well. They were requesting everyone to wear masks outdoors. We obeyed them as decent citizens, but I think we and one other family were the only ones to adhere to this rule. So fingers crossed. At least we and the hotel staff followed the rules strictly. The folk singers sang beautiful Rajasthani songs. They arranged for our jeeps to come in and sanitised them. For the morning safari they gave us blankets. Very very thoughtful. We took 2 safaris. The morning one we didn’t see much, in fact nothing. The second in zone 3 we roamed for 3 hours and saw nothing. Our guide mr Harvinder was excellent, on way back he spotted a tiger outside the zone! We saw and clicked, but were shooed away by government officials. Overall our stay at this beautiful lodge was one to be remembered, despite the bitter memory of government officials clearing us out to get a better view for their VIP jeeps. Taj is only getting better at their work, we can blindly book them without seeing any review. Writing this as a thank you note too 😃More

I visited this property in October 2020 and was so happy with their service and hospitality, that I made sure of another visit in January 2021. Though I stayed here for one night, still, the room, staff and hospitality was amazing. Book their allure deluxe...suite its perfect. Special mention of Mr. Bhayal, Mr. Nityanand, Mr. Momin and the rest of the staff whose name I could not ask, the whole team of taj sawai madhopur for making my stay memorable...that too twice. Whenever I am back for the tigers, I am sure to stay here.More

A journey we could not make We were schduled to travel to Vivanta in Ranthambore and our trip was halted on the Jaipur highway due to the farmers protest .. Our entire family has been so excited about this holiday that we were very disappointed...But I do want to recognise a few folks at the hotel especially Robin was terrific from the first time I spoke to him to the even the time I was stuck on the highway due to the protest , He was calm and reassuring that our safety was the # 1 priority and he did not even hesitate to offer to ensure we can either move the booking or cancel it with no questions asked , The reason I am writing this review is it not just when a customer is at the hotel but a lot of times when u provide this level of customer service it’s what matters the most Very are very disappointed we could not go but for sure someday will be back to witness the service at the hotel Nitya thank yo for your understanding as well !! Keep up the great work !More

We stayed the last weekend in November and the staff took great care of us, especially Robin and the General Manager. They were even able to arrange a COVID test for us because it was required to show a negative report at the airport in...Mumbai when we were returning. The food was great and the precautions taken by the staff was steadfast. The property is pretty and the evening bonfires were a nice addition to dinner time. They also coordinated our safaris and it was a really smooth process. We’ll def stay here again on our next visit 🙂More

Well, even amidst COVID 19 , one need not worry about the services, ambience, hospitaility , hygiene , comfort, care , food and fun at all, of you are here at Taj. Sawai Madhopur Lodge as the name suggests , is a 100 year old...hunting lodge popular since then for its wonderful location and proximity to the tiger spotting zones. Now it has come in the center of the city . The layout of the property is spread over more than 15 acres. Room designs continue to take you to the colonial era with a touch of modernisation to add comfort. Big gardens and play zones to make the kids comfortable , sumptuous breakfast lunch and dinner for the hungry tummies back from tiresome safaris. Impressive it was to note that the lodge has its own kitchen garden to cater to the day to day needs . Special thanks to Chef , who made sure that our kids get the multiple servings of Brownie with choclate sauce as many times as they ask for. It has never been a 'NO' from Taj. It was our most preferred choice and we would love to come here again. Thanks Taj , Keep it up.More

We stayed at this hotel only for one night while we did safari drives in Ranthambore National Park; it was so comfortable I wish we could have stayed longer. The website does not do this property justice. It is an old hunting lodge that must...have been build during the period that England governed India; it feels very British. The service is top notch. The property is an oasis in an otherwise hectic outside town. The rooms were large and comfortable. The restaurant offered a wide selection of delicious food and made great fresh dosa's for breakfast. If you are in this are I can't imagine there is a better choice for lodging.More

This birthday was indeed a special one as I booked myself a short stay at the Taj Vivanta - Sawai Madhopur Lodge. Always a nature enthusiast, this trip proved perfect in every sense, 4 days without care or concern, all wrapped up in peace, quiet...and lots of green. The hospitality was beyond words, the staff, the room, and the amenities made it so comfortable that was indeed a home away from home. The meals were sumptuous, the days were lazy and the nights were indulgent with an overflow of wine and conversations galore. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and private. Each time we walked into the dining area, the staff would regale us with tales from the jungle safari and its inhabitants. Now the safari, yes Ranthambore. Indeed a wow experience to catch the big cat in action. They say you are lucky if you spot one as the cat is as elusive as the celebrity. We were fortunate to have spotted Arrowhead, granddaughter of the famous tigress Macahli, and her two young female cubs. The stride, the stripes all added to her strut, a majestic sight that made all us tourists bow in reverence. And the excitement was carried forward the next day when we spotted yet another lady, Noori. In her prime, Noori gave us 40 minutes of undivided attention, with pictures that are etched in the memory forever. Altogether this was an unforgettable trip courtesy Taj Sawai Madhopur LodgeMore

This hotel is a lovely, old fashioned place with attentive staff. It's an oasis of calm and a great retreat after a day on safari looking for tigers. On arrival you are greeted with a hot flannel and a drink. Our room (5) overlooked the...garden and had a large bedroom with lounge area, dressing room and huge bathroom with immense bath and shower. The grounds are well kept and the bats hanging in the trees are huge. The first night at dinner it was al a carte and my lamb kebabs were tasty and my husbands fish and chips were good. The second night it was a buffet with a selection of Indian and European food,- the naan bread was freshly cooked and delicious. The breakfast after a cold, damp safari was great,- warming and filling. Unfortunately we didn't see any tigers on our 3 safaris but we enjoyed our two nights here and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Ranthambore park.More
