Service is quick. The food is simple and not greasy. Very inexpensive, good to visit for a snack. I recommend the samosas.

Cafe Tato is a Margao institution and is defonitely worth a visit. The first floor is not quite a basic as the ground floor, but there is not much difference - anyway, I don't think anyone comes for the ambience. We wanted a lateish lunch...consisting of some of the many snacks, both Goan and North Indian, for which they are famous. We had a variety of bhajis, goan buns and some chickpeas, but our favourites by a long way were the dahi wada and the shreekhant. These last two were so delicious, we ordered several more plates! There were also lots of fruit drinks to choose from, I had a refreshing watermelon juice, and my partner enjoyed his custard apple shake. A thoroughly satisfying lunch, despite the simple decor. Service is adequate, they are quite busy, and individual dishes are served as and when they come from the kitchen. Prices are fairly modereate, we had quite a few small snack plates, and paid INR700 imcluding a small tip.More
Just of the road coming from Margao , has limited parking space . There are three levels , two serving veg and the top one is the fine dining area where non veg is available. Prefer the level 1 area which is quiet . The...veg thali is of high quality and satisfies you with the variety . Service is good and one can have a meal in good time to get back on the roadMore
Cafe tato is within walking distance of the main bus stand in Madgaon. Their ground floor has an exclusively vegetarian section where we had misal pav and masala chai and found it very tasty. The service is fast and efficient.
The rawa fried prawns were very good .In the fish thali the fish curry was very good put not at par with Peep. There was a squid or octopus dish with capsicum and tomatoes which was very North Indian. The fried bangra was perfect ....The card machine didnt work. They have only one .The servers are rude and inefficient . The young gentleman on the ground floor , probably the owner is very courteous but has no clue what mayhem is going on upstairs . But I would go back for the food when I am in the south . The menu tries to offer topo much variety and service suffersMore
This place is flocked by people who wish to have south Indian cuisine, specifically snacks, such as samosas and sheeras. I would recommend their chole batura. Its amazing. Their other snacks are also pretty good.
This restaurant is located in the center of Margoa, and helps to fix your hunger pangs quickly. It is a bit congested and always busy with customers. Food is good and service is quick. Quite popular with the local crowd.
A must visit place if you are in Margao To enjoy veg Goan Dishes It's in the heart of Margao City. Their morning breakfast is the best.
Good quality with tastier food available. Only thing is this hotel located interior to the main road. One has to put the google location to find this place without fail. One of the best vegetarian hotel in Margao.
