We really enjoy going to the Auberge. Food quality is great, staff very friendly and attentive, the chef comes out to greet guests every time.

Our flight to visit friends for a birthday party were delayed and so was our arrival, our first priority was to have a cold beer and then we checked into our rooms, all clean and tidy with everything you need for a short stay. We then went down and chilled in the small bar for a time before going into... More

WHen you will finally get a table at La Fruitiere (it is extremely popular so do book a few days ahead ) you will find a lovely cosy warm dining room with a terrace in summer. THe menu is small and varies depending on the seasons but every day the chef offers a number of suggestions. you know that it... More

This small restaurant has gained some fame recently so it is advisable to reserve a table. We had our dinner at the terrace overlooking a small square. In addition to the short menu they had special dishes for the day, communicated to us by a young an eager waiter. My filet de perche were werved with a nice lemon sauce... More

If you know the system of Auberge Communal in France, you also know that it can be quite variable in what it offers and achieves. Since chef Franck took La Fruitiere over, I have never seen it less than full every night. This means you always have to make a reservation, but it is really worth it. They have a... More

We came here with friends and spend a lovely evening, in a friendly warm atmosphere, with great food and wine. The service was really welcoming, we felt right at home. They have allowed our dog in too :-). We definitely recommend it and would love to return.

We booked four nights here in Aug 2013. We arrived at 4 pm to find it closed. We waited outside until it opened at 5:30. We were told no food would be available during our stay including breakfast. No apology was given and no alternatives were suggested. In fact the 'gentleman' made us understand that we were pretty stupid expecting... More

Unfortunately the restaurant closed down at the end of August 2008 and re-opened in April 2009 with new owners who offer (although still good) a more simple fare. A popular place for local tradesmen at lunchtimes now, difficult to get a parking place with all the vans in the car park. Rooms still of a good clean standard and a... More

This is a beautiful little restaurant two villages to the west of our village in France. We eat there frenquently and are never dissapointed. They are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are staying in downtown Geneva and have a car, it's worth a 20 minutes drive from the border to experience a classic French country menu. The restaurant... More
