All round excellence- friendly welcoming staff, tried all three roasts between us - pork, beef and chicken - all beautifully cooked and plentiful, and an excellent atmosphere. All that a local village pub should be with plenty of locals there to enjoy it.

What can I say! You looked after our every need. Location, food and service all fantastic. All our guests commented on how nice the food was (especially the chips - best in the west). Some were taking left overs home with them. Can thoroughly recommend...More

Unbelievable we were staying right next door when we visited on our last night and the menu was varied enough for us not to have to travel into Truro or Falmouth. Apparently new chef and food hot and made to order especially for my girlfriends...More

We were on the way back from a National Trust property in pouring rain. We've passed this pub numerous times on our way down to the Roseland and never really given it a thought, largely because by the time we do we're at the tail...More

My family and some friends visited the pub for food and drinks a few times in the lead up to my sister's wedding. What's lovely, welcoming pub. The staff were really friendly, the food was incredible and the bar drinks were the best. The courtyard...More

The Falmouth Arms went through a period in the doldrums, but with the arrival of the new chef, Ian, it is definitely back to where it was. A varied, ever changing menu will suit anyone. Beer drinkers can enjoy Tribute, Cornwall Pride or the guest...More

We are a dog friendly pub and dogs on leads are welcome in the bar areas. This includes tables where you can also dine. Oh, and well behaved owners are also welcome! Cheers.

Description
Come and enjoy delicious pub food together with our finest local ales and fine wines in our historic freehouse village pub. Our excellent cuisine, varied menu and welcoming ambience will combine to provide you with a memorable dining experience. The Falmouth Arms is an historic 17th Century pub situated in the Cornish village of Ladock, located between St Austell and Truro. The Ladock road was one of the early routes into West Cornwall and passed through the beautiful wooded Ladock Valley. The Falmouth Arms was one of a series of coaching inns along the way, where horses could be changed. Embracing our long heritage, we endeavour to strike the balance between the historic charm of the building, with a contemporary freshness. We are open for food 7 days a week, lunchtimes (excluding Mondays) and evenings. We recommend booking a table for weekends and holidays. We have our own large car park providing easy and safe parking, with a sheltered beer garden and a bookable small function room/private dining area. Well behaved dogs on leads are also very welcome.
