Craster is an excellent stop for cycling in Northumberland. The scenery plays a big part, however if you need to refuel, the smokehouse, the Jolly Fisherman and the Shoreline Café are all really nice places to eat. I’d been to the other two previously only...More

It was a pleasure to find a dog friendly café in Craster - where we went to buy some fresh kippers. We had coffee which arrived pretty quickly and ordered soup and a roll for a bite of lunch - but it took ages to...More

Four of us arrived for coffee on a lovely sunny morning. We ordered drinks and 2 of us went outside on to the decking and put out chairs by a table. Meanwhile, a lady who was serving the coffee told us that due to health...More

Really nice cafe with home baked cakes and good strong coffee. Small garden at the rear attracts lots of sparrows which line up on the fence waiting for crumbs! Friendly staff.

Very busy but did not have to wait long to be served. Coffee was very nice and the scones were very good.

Although the cafe wasn't busy all the staff seemed extremely stressed and rude. Other staff milled around not helping the others and getting in their way. Were made to feel extremely unwelcome

I seem to remember there was a dog inside - they also have an outside seating area which is definitely dog friendly. Enjoy it - it's a lovely cafe.
