Situated in Fernhurst on the Midhurst road. The restaurant is small with only a few tables inside but there are also tables available in the garden area. Penty of parking. The menu is small but a decent selection. Food great with an exvellent friendly service....More

The menu provided a great selection of food, I enjoyed a asparagus risotto and I had a choice of different topping to have with it. I choose hot smoked salmon and it was delicious.

The new menu with tapas style starters and old fashioned pub main courses, some with a twist, is excellent. Good old fashioned desserts again some with a twist. Delightful meal.

I'm a carer for an elderly gent. I enjoyed my risotto but he was less than impressed with his tired looking tagliatelli. The place was pretty empty and only log fire was in a far off lounge area. So he wanted to leave asap but...More

Hi there, Due to us having so much variety on our menus I wouldn't be able to fit it all in to one photo! But please find our full menu on our facebook page or our website. We hope to see you soon!

Description
The current owners Johnny and Annie Portman have had The Kings Arms since May 2013 and have since then been striving to bring this pub back to a traditional country pub with a few modern twists!

Nestling in the South Downs, The Kings Arms is a traditional English country pub in an historic timber framed building, dating back to the 17th Century. This Grade II listed building has been lovingly restored to its former splendour with modern touches offering a taste of how a real pub should be in a relaxed yet professional environment welcoming travellers and locals alike. Why not sit on one of our sofas by a cosy fire in the winter or in our large beer garden with stunning views in the summer months.

If you want to extend you stay with us, we also have six en suite rooms in a converted stable block. Why not explore the surrounding area which is home to the Cowdray Estate famous for polo and golf, Goodwood Racecourse and also a number of beautiful National Trust walks and cycling routes.
