We had one lunch here and it was terrific. The setting is nice, in a newish shopping development with a lovely patio. Before entrees were brought they brought a little taste of soup as an amuse bouche, and after the meal they served a tiny desert on the house as well. The Costa Rican dishes we had were fresh and light and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.

This is a wonderful place to try. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The service was great and professional. The extras they give you are unexpected, like a small bowl of soup when you first sit down, which was very good.
Very enjoyable meal and best of all the price was very reasonable.

Ikua Cocina Casero is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Ana, Costa Rica The food is great, as well as the atmosphere. I was very comfortable there. Special thanks to Silena for her patience and caring personality, in helping me, as well as Massiel. Hugo was also very nice, caring, and accommodating.

I've lived in Santa Ana for over a year and this has become one of my favorite spots. The food is delicious (the breakfast is my favorite!!), it is reasonably priced and the service is outstanding. I love the outdoor seating as well. When we come, we usually end up staying long after we have finished eating, just talking and hanging out.

We live in San Isidro and after reading the great reviews decided to give it a try. The Pinto had an old taste and feel. The tortillas were very good. The Maduros were good as well. Eggs.. well..so so. The ambience is fantastic in a modern shopping mall. Hope they improve their food as we’d love to go back to re-check on what everybody is picking up that we are definitely not!

If you want great service and a home cooked meal, ikuä is your place in Santa Ana. We had the “tortilla de queso” which was one of the best I’ve had. We also had the “huevos rancheros” which were great as well. Huge fruit bowl and good coffee.
This will be a go-to restaurant for breakfast and will come to try other meals as well.

Spending one night in Santa Anna, we looked for a place to have lunch and chose this spot. it was nice and close to the hotel, situated in a modern shopping complex with a vast choice of restaurants. The service was good and the server friendly. The food was good but nothing special. We had french fries and tacos.

Tasty casado (Costa Rican food) with lot of options to make the experience better (tortillas, maduros)
At the end, casado comes with a wonderful small desert. Please, try to see if there's some "cajeta de leche" available.

This is a very good place if you want to try some costa rican food in a very nice location. I also liked that they offer a lot of different natural drinks, which is great considering that a lot of places offer pulp only nowadays. I was surprised on how fast they served my breakfast as well. I will definitely return.

Great food for a great price. Try the fruit cocktail drinks. They gave us a lot of stuff to try additionally, soup, caramelized bananas and some kind of white nougat.

If you are near by, don’t miss this place. Olla de Carne, Tortilla de Queso, Casados, everything is great here. Such a nice place to get breakfast during the weekend served with a nice and smooth guaba mimosa. Please visit them and let them know how good they are.

This place is owned by a traditional Costa Rican family. Located in a new plaza called City Place in Santa Ana among other restaurants and bars. The difference is that your meal will be great food, great service which is rare in this part of the world. Another big PLUS is that their prices are set for locals not tourists and are more than fair. You will be pleased you tried this place.
