I had the tofu & mixed vegetable fritters with Aioli. I also ordered the chai made with rice milk which was surprisingly creamy like and frothy, a credit to the barista working there. Staff are friendly, warm and highly efficient for a volunteer social enterprise. Just a great place, great food that is worthy of support and repeat visits. You... More

Lentil as Anything makes no claims, but delivers in bounds. This restaurant (one of three in Melbourne) sits in the stately grounds of the Abbotsford Convent. The food is comforting vegetarian and vegan fair, but so much more than a plate of lentils. The night I went I had Greek pears, vegetarian lasagna, fresh green salad and jasmine rice...wonderful. We... More

My daughter took me here when I was in Melbourne on holiday. As a dedicated meat eating.entrepreneur with a long list of Michelin starred visits behind me, an invitation to a convent, where the restaurant is vegetarian and called lentils, and where you pay what you think, and where it's staffed by volunteers, well, that could be a recipe for... The concept of pay what you can was totally new for me. Everything works perfect, food was delicious, and the volunteers were really nice. One of the best coffees in the city. For me is a "must to visit"
