This pub has a great reputation hence it is always packed anytime we go but we always manage to get a table. The food is very good and they offer a great selection, even on the kids menu. The desserts are to die for and big portions so leave plenty of room if you can! The staff are really friendly... More

We were driving the scenic loop from Downings bay and came across this little place, wondering what all the vehicles were doing and curious to the name, the car park had facilities for camper vans etc, childrens play area etc, traditional small irish pub, separate rooms, what I think a restaurant to the rear, witnessed people waiting for table, food... Went here for dinner over the weekend. It could have been a disaster as they didn't have a record of our booking despite me booking it on Facebook messenger. We were a party of 5 and the staff who were lovely found us a table. The kids loved the playarea outside. The food was amazing, the steak on a stone... More

Highly recommend this middle of nowhere pub!! The food is very good.. i had the surf n turf which was 6oz fillet served on a hot stone to cook yourself and the surf was prawns, crab claw and 2 scallops! A really impressive wine list and the guinness was good also!!

A great spot to stop off if nearby and always very welcoming. Food great and always live sport on for the men. Welcoming to all ages and a small playarea outside for the younger ones. Have yet to visit when the Live music is on but will make a point of doing so when I'm back up next week!!!
