I have been in La Vieja Bodega twice and I will definitely go back as soon as I have the opportunity! Food is always amazing, whether you go for traditional or modern dishes, they will always surprise you! Perfectly cooked, explosive flavours and never leave you indifferent. Also, impressive knowledge of wines to match your meal! People is awesome, helpful... More

I visited La Viega Bodega three times this month and I will definitely go again when I'm in the area. The first time I visited was with a large group (30 winetourism students from 20 different countries) and we were attended so well, with such professionalism but also with local charm that I returned again. On my next two visits... More

In this region there are many good restaurants that offer as good food as this one and at much more reasonable prices. To my taste it is overpriced for the type of food it offers. Good quality and nicely prepared in a well decorated restaurant. Staff is nice and helpful but honestly if you visit the region I recommend visiting... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch at this local haunt. For a small town, it's a good sized restaurant and best of all- filled with locals. Very warm service that catered to our Spanish challenged vocabulary. The outstanding scallops appetizer was matched by the artichoke started. We enjoyed traditional Rioja dishes for our mains & were extremely pleased. The paired... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch between wineries. I do mean quick, in Spanish terms, anyway. Lunch starts at 1:30 and we had a winery reservation at 3:00. Fortunately, this restaurant is only 10 minutes from Haro. Even though they publish 1:30 opening, they resisted giving me a 1:30 reservation, they really preferred it be 2:00. We were the only... We came in as a last minute stop for dinner at the end of our holiday in Rioja. Our daughter is vegetarian and this was our first time during our trip where she was made to feel welcome - nothing was too much trouble, lots of options for her! The food was great including the amuse bouche and the service... More

We use Vieja Bodega for many of our clients when we are on tour in La Rioja. The attention to detail, the welcome, the flexibility and the service are simply excellent. We have had many groups comment on how they loved it, one group of 40 from Luxembourg at the weekend were over the moon for example, and we will... More
