We recently visited with friends after a lovely walk on the aqueduct. I had ordered fish and chips for £12.95. I received a frozen fish and cold chips. All of the food was microwaved and terrible. I wouldn't mind if the food had been cheap as you do get what you pay for, but their prices rival some lovely restaurants... More

We visited here after finishing a walk around Llangollen. Plenty of outside seating, staff were friendly and prices more than reasonable. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the food so cannot comment but we would definitely return :)

Came here whilst on a trip along the Llangollen Canal and we saw the advertising sign as we entered Froncysylltle. It said it served world famous steak pies, so we came for a look and had a warm, welcoming visit. The beer was very well kept and tasty, the pies were indeed excellent - and in large portions - and... More

Had been for a long frosty walk along the canal and stopped here for food as they allowed the dog in in certain areas of the pub ..it is microwaved food but it was hot and edible .. staff were friendly and helpful. Warm by the fire but cold in the loos Pub is dated but it adds to charm..... More

This has to rate as the worst food/pub experience of my life. 4 of us visited, each meal was frozen supermarket food that was MICROWAVED! The veg wasn't even fresh! It was from one of those £1 frozen supermarket bags. Dirty cold plates with food that was cold and dry on the outside and hot in the middle. The curry... More

As for the food well, hubby had the steak pie twice and said it was delicious, i asked... More

We were a party of four on a narrowboat and moored here for the night. We asked a few locals if there was any other pub in the area and were told there wasn't, so Telford Inn it was for us. Maybe they suffer from lack of competition. We stopped at quite a few places on our narrowboat trip but... More

We had been driving around looking for a nice dog friendly pub to have some lunch in and stumbled upon the Telford Inn. The bar staff and waitress were lovely, Lyla (hope I spelt it ok!) was really welcoming, friendly and even made the dog feel welcome. My other half had the ham, egg and chips which was a standard... The food here is overpriced for what it is and not of a good quality. I had a cheeseburger today it was not fresh food but something clearly from a frozen packet. Ignore signs outside saying food is served from 11.30am, you go inside to find its served from 12 noon (then some). Other than that the pub looks a... More
